description: Latar Belakang: Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit infeksi  yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan melalui nyamuk Aedes aegypti.  Penggunaan insektisida kimia masih menjadi salah satu metode yang sering  digunakan untuk mengendalikan vektor penyakit DBD. Penggunaan insektisida  kimia memiliki dampak buruk bagi tubuh, pencemaran lingkungan, dan  meningkatkan angka resistensi nyamuk. Oleh karena itu, daun lantana (Lantana  camara linn) dapat digunakan sebagai bioinsektisida karena mengandung senyawa  aktif seperti saponin, tanin, flavonoid, alkaloid, steroid, dan fenol yang dapat  membunuh nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui  efektivitas ekstrak etanol daun lantana (Lantana camara linn) sebagai  bioinsektisida terhadap nyamuk Aedes aegypti  Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksperimental. Subjek  penelitian ini adalah nyamuk Aedes aegypti sebanyak 700 ekor. Penelitian ini  menggunakan kelompok perlakuan ekstrak daun lantana dengan konsentrasi 1,5%,  3%, 6%, 12%, dan 24%, serta mencakup kontrol negatif (aquades) dan kontrol  positif (sipermetrin). Setiap kelompok perlakuan dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali  pengulangan dengan waktu pengamatan selama 24 jam setelah penyemprotan.  Hasil: Hasil uji Kruskal-Wallis didapatkan p-value = 0,002 (p = < 0,05) sehingga  dapat dinyatakan ada perbedaan signifikan rata-rata mortalitas nyamuk Aedes  aegypti pada setiap kelompok perlakuan. Hasil uji probit diperoleh nilai LC50  berada pada konsentrasi 2,616%, sedangkan nilai LC90 berada pada konsentrasi  4,983%. Didapatkan hasil uji probit nilai LT50 berkisar antara 27,287 jam (1,5%)  hingga 5,010 jam (24%), sedangkan LT90 dari 247,862 jam (1,5%) hingga 11,439  jam (24%).  Kesimpulan: Ekstrak etanol daun lantana (Lantana camara linn) dalam sediaan  spray efektif sebagai bioinsektisida terhadap nyamuk Aedes aegypti.  Kata kunci: Aedes aegypti, Bionsektisida, Lantana camara linn      Background: Dengue fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue  virus and transmitted through the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The use of chemical  insecticides is still one of the methods often used to control DHF disease vectors.  The use of chemical insecticides has adverse effects on the body, environmental  pollution, and increases the mosquito resistance rate. Therefore, lantana leaves  (Lantana camara linn) can be used as a bioinsecticide because they contain active  compounds such as saponins, tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, and phenols  that can kill Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. The purpose of this study was to determine  the effectiveness of ethanol extract of lantana leaves (Lantana camara linn) as a  bioinsecticide against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes.  Method: Quantitative research with experimental research design. The subjects of  this study were 700 Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. This study used treatment groups  with concentrations of 1.5%, 3%, 6%, 12%, and 24%, and included negative  controls (aquades) and positive controls (cypermethrin). Each treatment group was  repeated 4 times with an observation time of 24 hours after spraying.  Results: The Kruskal-Wallis test results obtained a p-value = 0.002 (p = <0.05) so  that it can be stated that there is a significant difference in the average mortality of  Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in each treatment group. The results of the probit test  obtained the LC50 value at a concentration of 2.616%, while the LC90 value was at  a concentration of 4.983%. The results of the probit test obtained the LT50 value  ranging from 27.287 hours (1.5%) to 5.010 hours (24%), while LT90 from 247.862  hours (1.5%) to 11.439 hours (24%).  Conclusion: Ethanol extract of lantana leaves (Lantana camara linn) in spray  preparation is effective as a bioinsecticide against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes.
