%X Ketidaksejahteraan sosial-ekonomi merupakan pembentuk kesenjangan di  masyarakat. Potret karya sastra novel “Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu” karya  Tere Liye ialah salah satu konstruksi kesenjangan sosial-ekonomi yang  bersinggungan dengan kuasa yang ada. Konstruksi pesan yang direpresentasikan  melalui karya sastra ini menjadi media penting dalam mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai  kepada masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran  representasi realitas kesenjangan sosial-ekonomi dalam masyarakat dikonstruksi  melalui teks-teks novel “Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu”. Penelitian ini  menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma subjective-constructivism.  Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada kajian Konstruksi Sosial Peter L. Berger &  Thomas Luckmann dengan prosedur elemen Analisis Framing model Entman.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya enam klasifikasi kesenjangan sosial &  ekonomi. Melalui proses analisis empat elemen Entman pada keenam klasifikasi,  ditemukan define problems berupa penyalahgunaan kuasa, korupsi, kriminalitas  dan hak-hak hidup, diagnoses causes berupa pemegang kekuasaan dan  ketidakmampuan harta, make moral judgement berupa nilai-nilai etis dan  pendidikan moral, dan treatment recommendation berupa core values, kerendahan  hati, dan pengembangan diri. Maka realitas kesenjangan sosial-ekonomi ini  direpresentasikan sebagai masyarakat yang masih lemah dan kompleks dalam  pengelolaan kesejahteraan hidup atas sebab-akibat kuasa. Realitas kesenjangan  sosial-ekonomi dalam novel ini ialah hasil konstruksi sosial dari pengarang dan  menampilkan bahwa memperkecil kesenjangan merupakan standar masyarakat  yang diidealkan oleh pengarang. The literary portrait of  the novel "Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu" by Tere Liye is one of the  constructions of socio-economic inequality that intersects with existing power. The  message construction represented through literary works is a significant medium  for disseminating values to society. This research aims to find out the  representation of the reality of socio-economic inequality in a society constructed  through the texts of the novel "Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu". This research  uses qualitative methods with a subjective constructivism paradigm. This research  is based on the Social Construction study of Peter L. Berger & Thomas Luckmann  with the Entman model Framing Analysis elements procedure. The results of this  research show that there are six classifications of social & economic disparities.  Through the analysis process of Entman's four elements in the six classifications, it  is found that to define problems in the form of abuse of power, corruption, crime,  and life rights, diagnose causes in the form of power holders and wealth incapacity,  make moral judgments in the form of ethical values and moral education, and    treatment recommendations in the form of core values, humility, and self-  development. So, the reality of this socio-economic inequality is represented as a    society that is still weak and complex in managing the welfare of life based on the  causes and effects of power. The reality of socio-economic inequality in this novel  is the result of the author's social construction and shows that reducing inequality  is the standard of society idealized by the author.
