%A Bahari M Zedi %T EXPLORING STUDENTS PERCEPTION IN SPEAKING ENGLISH %X This study examined students in developing English speaking proficiency. The study aims to identify the major barriers that hinder students' oral communication skills. Through a comprehensive analysis of relevant literature and empirical data, the study uncovers the linguistic and psychological factors that contribute to students' difficulties. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The number of participants in this study was 10 people. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the nature of these challenges, thereby enabling educators and policy makers to develop effective strategies to improve students' English speaking skills.
