"Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) merupakan tanaman yang banyak dibudidayakan\r\ndi Indonesia, hal ini dikarenakan cassava merupakan salah satu sumber makanan\r\npokok dan sumber pendapatan di seluruh daerah tropis, tetapi dalam proses\r\npertumbuhannya, petani sering kali terkendala oleh adanya gangguan jamur patogen\r\npenyebab penyakit layu fusarium dan menyebabkan kualitas tanaman cassava\r\nmenurun. Salah satu cara untuk mengendalikan penyakit layu fusarium dengan\r\npenanaman bibit cassava pada media tanah melalui pengimbasan asam salisilat secara\r\nin vivo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh asam salisilat terhadap\r\nkarakter anatomis daun dan akar pada tanaman cassava yang diinokulasi jamur\r\nFusarium oxysporum dan mengetahui konsentrasi asam salisilat yang optimal\r\nterhadap karakter anatomis daun dan akar pada tanaman cassava yang diinokulasi\r\njamur Fusarium oxysporum. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap\r\n(RAL) satu faktor dengan 5 taraf konsentrasi asam salisilat yaitu 0 ppm, 80 ppm, 100\r\nppm, 120 ppm dan 140 ppm. Analisis data menggunakan Analysis of Variance\r\n(ANOVA) dan uji lanjut dengan Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Hasil\r\npenelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan karakter anatomis daun dan akar pada\r\ntanaman cassava yang diimbas menggunakan asam salisilat. One way to control fusarium wilt disease is by planting cassava seeds in soil\r\nmedia using salicylic acid in vivo. The purpose of this research was to determine the\r\neffect of salicylic acid on the anatomical characters of leaves and roots in cassava\r\nplants inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum fungus and to determine the optimal\r\nconcentration of salicylic acid on the anatomical characters of leaves and roots in\r\ncassava plants inoculated with Fusarium oxysporum fungus. This research used a\r\none-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 levels of salicylic acid\r\nconcentration, namely 0 ppm, 80 ppm, 100 ppm, 120 ppm and 140 ppm. Data\r\nanalysis used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and further testing with the Honestly\r\nSignificant Difference Test (SDT) at the 5% level. The results of the research showed\r\nthat there were changes in the anatomical characteristics of the leaves and roots of\r\ncassava plants which were influenced by using salicylic acid.
