abstract: Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya tingkat kemampuan berpikir
kritis peserta didik kelas IV di SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan pada efektivitas penerapan
LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis
IPAS peserta didik. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian
kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Desain penelitian
menggunakan pre-exsperimental design dengan jenis one group pretest posttest
design. Populasi berjumlah 46 dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu 23 peserta didik
kelas IVB, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik non probability sampling dengan
jenis purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat
pengaruh yang signifikan pada efektivitas penerapan LKPD berbasis Problem
Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis IPAS peserta didik kelas IV
SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.

The problem in this study is the low level of critical thinking skills of fourth grade
students at SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan. This study aims to determine the
significant effect on the effectiveness of the application of Problem Based
Learning-based LKPD on the critical thinking skills of IPAS students. The method
in this study uses a type of quantitative research. Data collection techniques using
tests. The research design used pre-exsperimental design with the type of one
group pretest posttest design. The population amounted to 46 and the sample used
was 23 students of class IVB, the sample was determined by non probability
sampling technique with purposive sampling type. The results of this study
indicate that there is a significant effect on the effectiveness of the application of
Problem Based Learning-based LKPD on the critical thinking ability of IPAS
class IV students of SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan in the 2023/2024 academic year.
