KINGKIT (Triphasia trifolia) SEBAGAI ANTIMIKROBA TERHADAP

%X Soap contains dangerous chemicals in the form of triclosan, so it requires safe
natural raw materials, for example lime berry leaf extract. The aim of this research
is to determine the best formulation of liquid soap with lime berry leaf extract as an
antimicrobial based on organoleptic characteristics, physical properties, according
to SNI 06-4085-1996 standards, and inhibitory power against Staphylococcus
aureus. Lime berry leaf extract is used in nine concentrations of 0 mL, 5 mL, 10
mL, 15 mL, 20 mL, 25 mL, 30 mL, 35 L, and 40 mL. This research was arranged
in a single-factor Randomized Complete Group Design (RAKL) with three
replications. Organoleptic observation data of scoring test and hedonic test, and
physical properties of pH, foaming ability, specific gravity, and TPC were analyzed
by variance analysis in order to get the effect of each treatment and further
processed by BNT test at 5% level. The best formulation was tested for bacterial
inhibition to measure antimicrobial effectiveness against Staphylococcus aureus.
The results obtained from that the best formulation with a concentration of lime
berry leaf extract of 20 mL. The characteristics produced in the organoleptic test
are yellow (score 3.45), thick viscosity (score 3.23), typical kingkit aroma (score
3.45), high foaming ability (score 3.46), and overall acceptance level likes (score
3.58). The physical properties of this liquid soap include pH of 6.92, excellent
foamability of 86.69%, specific gravity of 1.039 g/mL and total microbial TPC of
1.7 ? 10? already meet SNI 06-4085-1996 standards. The bacterial antimicrobial
test showed an average diameter of the inhibition zone of 20.61 mm in the very
strong category.

Sabun memiliki kandungan kimia berbahaya berupa triclosan sehingga
membutuhkan bahan baku alami yang aman misalnya ekstrak daun jeruk kingkit.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan formulasi terbaik sabun cair dengan
ekstrak daun jeruk kingkit sebagai antimikroba berdasarkan karakteristik
organoleptik, sifat fisik, sesuai standar SNI 06-4085-1996, serta daya hambat
terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Ekstrak daun jeruk kingkit digunakan dalam
sembilan konsentrasi 0 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL, 15 mL, 20 mL, 25 mL, 30 mL, 35 L, dan
40 mL. Penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL)
faktor tunggal dengan tiga kali ulangan. Data pengamatan organoleptik, uji skoring
dan uji hedonik, sifat fisik, pH, daya busa, bobot jenis, maupun TPC dianalisis sidik
ragam agar mendapatkan pengaruh tiap perlakuannya dan diolah lebih lanjut
dengan uji BNT taraf 5%. Formulasi terbaik diuji daya hambat bakteri untuk
mengukur efektivitas antimikroba terhadap Staphylococcus aureus. Hasil yang
didapatkan formulasi terbaik dengan konsentrasi ekstrak daun jeruk kingkit sebesar
20 mL. Karakteristik yang dihasilkan pada uji organoleptik berupa warna kuning
(skor 3,45), kekentalan kental (skor 3,23), aroma khas kingkit (skor 3,45), busa
banyak (skor 3,46), dan tingkat penerimaan keseluruhan suka (skor 3,58). Sifat fisik
sabun cair ini meliputi pH sebesar 6,92, daya busa sangat baik 86,69%, bobot jenis
1,039 g/mL dan TPC total mikroba 1,7 ? 10? sudah memenuhi standar SNI 06-
4085-1996. Uji antimikroba bakteri menunjukkan rata-rata diameter zona hambat
sebesar 20,61 mm kategori sangat kuat.
