        abstract = {Penelitian membahas masalah tentang rendahnya kemampuan berpikir 
kritis peserta didik mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur. 
Masalah tersebut muncul karena kurangnya inovasi pendidik dalam 
penggunaan model dan media pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung 
kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui 
pengaruh brain based learning berbantuan wordwall terhadap kemampuan 
berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest 
posttest nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data 
menggunakan tes. Sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh, sebanyak 41 peserta 
didik.  Data dianalisis melalui uji regresi sederhana. Hasil uji regresi sederhana 
menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh brain based learning berbantuan wordwall 
terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Sehingga, brain based learning 
berbantuan wordwall dapat dijadikan alternatif bagi pendidik dalam pemilihan 
model dan media yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis 
peserta didik.

Research discusses the problem of the low critical thinking skills science 
subjects in class V students SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur. This problem arises due 
to the lack of innovation by educators in the use of learning models and media 
that can support students' critical thinking skills. The aim research to determine 
the effect of brain based learning assisted by wordwall on the critical thinking 
skills. Type of research is an experiment with a pretest posttest non equivalent 
control group design. Data collection techniques use test. The sample used 
saturated sampling, as many as 41 students. Then, the data was analyzed 
through a simple regression test. The results of the simple regression test 
showed that there was an influence of brain based learning assisted by 
wordwall on the critical thinking skills. So, brain based learning assisted by 
wordwall can be used as an alternative for teachers in selecting the right model 
and media to improve students? critical thinking skills.
