Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning. Jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh, sebanyak 46 peserta didik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur. Sehingga, project based learning dapat dijadikan alternatif bagi pendidik dalam pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik sekolah dasar. The low science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur are caused by several factors, including the not maximizing the use of project-based learning models. The purpose of the study was to determine the application of the project-based learning model. This type of research is experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection techniques using tests and non-tests. The sample used saturated sampling, totaling 46 students. Data were analyzed using a simple regression test. The results showed that there was an effect of project-based learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Metro Timur. So, project-based learning can be used as an alternative for educators in choosing the right learning model to improve the science learning outcomes of elementary school students.
