%X Masih banyaknya masyarakat di Provinsi Lampungyang berlawanan dengan ideologi  Pancasila oleh karena itu penelitian ini dibuat bertujuan untuk melihat peranan pemerintah  yang berfokus pada Badan Kesbangpol Provinsi Lampung dalam mendorong gerakan  collective action sebagai upaya pencegahan penyebaran paham radikalisme di Provinsi  Lampung. Provinsi Lampung merupakan salah satu Provinsi di Indonesia yang menduduki  presentasi tertinggi dalam penyebaran bibit faham radikalisme, hal ini didukung dengan  adanya kasus penangkapan terduga jaringan paham radikalisme yang terjadi di Provinsi  Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, observasi, wawancara, dan  dokumentasi yang menggunakan empat indikator yang menjadi penentu optimal dan tidak  optimalnya peran pemerintah dalam mendorong gerakan collective action, yaitu: (1) peran  regulator, (2) peran fasilitator, (3) peran katalisator. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Badan  Kesbangpol Provinsi Lampung dalam mendorong gerakan collective action  penanggulangan radikalisme telah dilakukan secara optimal, walaupun masih terdapat  beberapa kekurangan yang terjadi akibat adanya faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan  kegiatan dalam mencegah penyebaran paham radikalisme. Oleh karena itu dalam  meningkatkan peranan Badan Kesbangpol dalam mencegah penyebaran paham  radikalisme perhatian lebih lanjut dari pemerintah terkait tenaga ahli IT guna mendukung  performa dalam mencegah penyebaran paham radikalisme di era globalisasi serta  diperlukannya pembaruan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Badan Kesbangpol guna  mencegah penyebaran paham radikalisme di dunia maya.  Kata Kunci: Peran, Pemerintah, Collective action, Radikalisme.    2    ABSTRACT    THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IN ENCOURAGING THE COLLECTIVE  ACTION MOVEMENT TO OVERCOME RADICALISM  (LAMPUNG PROVINCE KESBANBPOL AGENCY STUDY)    By    ANASTASYA NASWA AZZAHRA    There are still many people in Lampung Province who are opposed to the Pancasila  ideology, therefore this research was aimed at looking at the role of the government  which focuses on the Lampung Province Kesbangpol Agency in encouraging  collective action movements as an effort to prevent the spread of radicalism in  Lampung Province. Lampung Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia which  has the highest percentage in spreading the seeds of radicalism, this is supported by  the arrest of a suspected radicalism network that occurred in Lampung Province.  The methods used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation  using four indicators that determine the optimal and non-optimal role of  government in encouraging collective action movements, namely: (1) the role of  the regulator, (2) the role of the facilitator, (3) catalytic role. The results of this  research show that the Lampung Province Kesbangpol Agency in encouraging the  collective action movement to overcome radicalism has been carried out optimally,  although there are still several shortcomings that occur due to inhibiting factors in  implementing activities to prevent the spread of radicalism. Therefore, in increasing  the role of the Kesbangpol Agency in preventing the spread of radicalism, further  attention from the government regarding IT experts to support performance in  preventing the spread of radicalism in the era of globalization and the need to renew  activities carried out by the Kesbangpol Agency to prevent the spread of radicalism  in cyberspace.
