abstract: Metode dekomposisi Adomian Laplace merupakan metode semi analitik yang
menggabungkan antara transformasi Laplace dan metode dekomposisi Adomian
dalam menyelesaikan persamaan diferensial nonlinier. Persamaan Korteweg-de
Vries (KdV) adalah salah satu contoh persamaan diferensial parsial nonlinier.
Persamaan ini memodelkan gelombang permukaan air dalam suatu saluran. Dalam
penelitian ini, metode dekomposisi Adomian Laplace diterapkan pada persamaan
KdV serta menyelesaikan studi kasus beberapa kondisi awal. Kemudian, solusi yang
diperoleh dibandingkan dengan solusi eksak yang diambil dari studi sebelumnya
oleh Yassein & Aswhad (2019). Dari perhitungan menggunakan metode
dekomposisi Adomian Laplace menunjukkan bahwa solusi yang diperoleh sama
dengan solusi eksaknya.
Kata kunci: Metode Dekomposisi Adomian Laplace, persamaan diferensial parsial
nonlinier, persamaan Korteweg-de Vries, kondisi awal.

The Adomian Laplace decomposition method is a semi-analytic method that
combines the Laplace transformation and the Adomian decomposition method in
solving nonlinear differential equations. The Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation is
an example of a nonlinear partial differential equation. This equation models water
surface waves in channel. In this research, the Adomian Laplace decomposition
method is applied to the KdV equation and solves a case study of several initial
conditions. Then, the solution obtained was compared with the exact solution taken
from previous research by Yassein & Aswhad (2019). Calculations using the
Adomian Laplace decomposition method show that the solution obtained is the
same as the exact solution.
