"Pakan merupakan faktor yang paling penting dalam proses pertumbuhan dan\r\nkelangsungan hidup pada budi daya lele (Clarias gariepinus). Tingginya permintaan\r\nbahan baku pakan terutama tepung ikan mengakibatkan persediaan menjadi\r\nterbatas. Distiller’s Dried Grain with Solubles (DDGS) memiliki kadar protein\r\ndan serat yang tinggi sehingga perlu ditambahkan taurin dan probiotik untuk\r\nmengoptimalkan penyerapan nutrisi bahan pakan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk\r\nmengevaluasi performa budi daya, histologi usus, dan hati setelah pemberian pakan\r\nDDGS, taurin dan probiotik Bacillus sp. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode\r\nacak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, dengan menggunakan\r\nbenih lele berukuran 9,50 ± 0,14 cm yang dipelihara selama 60 hari. Pemberian\r\npakan dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali sehari dengan feeding rate 5% dan penyiponan\r\ndilakukan selama 3 hari sekali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan\r\nDDGS dan taurin berbeda, dan penambahan Bacillus sp 10 ml/kg, tidak\r\nmemberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang\r\nmutlak, berat mutlak, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, rasio konversi pakan dan indeks\r\nvisceralsomatik (P>0,05), namun memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata terhadap\r\nindeks hepatosomatik (P<0,05). Pada usus terjadi perubahan histopatologi\r\nberupa nekrosis dengan nilai 1,00 dan paling sedikit yaitu MoIM (morphonuclear\r\nimmune cells) dengan nilai 0,065. Sedangkan pada hati terjadi histopatologi berupa\r\ndegenerasi lemak dengan nilai 0,67 dan paling sedikit yaitu nekrosis dengan\r\nnilai 0,19. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa perlakuan yang diujikan memberikan\r\npengaruh yang sama terhadap performa budi daya dan histopatologi yang banyak\r\nditemukan berupa nekrosis pada usus dan degenerasi lemak pada hati.\r\nKata kunci: DDGS, Taurin, Probiotik, Pakan, Pertumbuhan, Histologi\r\n\r\nFeed is the most important factor in the growth and survival process of catfish\r\nfarming. The high demand for feed raw materials, especially fish meal, results\r\nin limited supply. Distiller's dried grain with solubles (DDGS) has high protein\r\nand fiber content, so it is necessary to add taurine and probiotics to optimize the\r\nabsorption of feed nutrients. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of culture,\r\nintestinal and liver histology after feeding DDGS, taurine and probiotic\r\nBacillus sp. This study used a completely randomized method (CRD) consisting\r\nof 6 treatments and 3 replications, using catfish juvenile 9.50 ± 0.14 cm which\r\nwere maintained for 60 days. Feeding was carried out 3 times a day with a feeding\r\nrate of 5% and siphoning was carried out once every 3 days. The results showed\r\nthat the utilization of DDGS and taurine different dosage, and the addition of\r\nBacillus sp 10 ml/kg, did not have a significantly effect on absolute length\r\ngrowth, absolute weight growth, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio and\r\nvisceralsomatic index (P>0.05), but it had a significantly effect on the hepatosomatic\r\nindex (P<0.05). The most common histopathological findings in the intestine\r\nand liver were necrosis (1.00) and fatty degeneration (0.67), while the deficient\r\nfindings were MoIM (0.065) and necrosis (0.19).
