WONOSOBO KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS

%X Masalah penelitian ini adalah perubahan komunikasi interpersonal dalam
penggunaan media sosial TikTok pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui dinamika perubahan komunikasi interpersonal dalam penggunaan
media sosial TikTok pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Wonosobo Kabupaten
Tanggamus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode
fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan
teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data diambil dari 10 siswa yang
masing-masing 5 orang siswa perempuan dan 5 orang siswa laki-laki yang
menggunakan aplikasi TikTok dan aktif mengenai isu-isu yang tengah viral yang
di jadikan komunikasi interpersonal siswa, dengan rata-rata penggunaan aplikasi
tik tok 3-5 jam perhari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dinamika perubahan
komunikasi interpersonal dalam penggunaan media sosial TikTok pada siswa
SMP Negeri 2 Wonosobo Kabupaten Tanggamus. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat
dampak positif dan dampak negatif yang berkaitan dengan aspek-aspek
komunikasi interpersonal. Dari kelima aspek komunikasi interpersonal
keterbukaan, empati, sikap mendukung, sikap positif dan kesetaraan ditemukan.
Dampak positif dapat menghibur perasaan tidak mood, bertukar informasi dan
pengetahuan up to date, timbul rasa kemanusian empati saling membantu, percaya
diri, serta toleransi antar teman yang berbeda agama dan budaya. Dampak negatif
perundungan pada siswa (bulliying), narsisme berjoget-joget tidak melihat tempat
yang pantas, mengucapkan kata istilah baru yang tidak pantas.

ABSTRACT

DYNAMICS OF INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION CHANGES IN
THE USE OF TIKTOK SOCIAL MEDIA STUDENTS OF STATE
MIDDLE SCHOOL 2 WONOSOBO TANGGAMUS DISTRICT

The problem of this research is changes in interpersonal communication in
students' use of TikTok social media. This research aims to determine the
dynamics of changes in interpersonal communication in the use of social media
TikTok among students at SMP Negeri 2 Wonosobo, Tanggamus Regency. This
research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. Data
collection techniques in this research used observation, interview and
documentation techniques. Data was taken from 10 students, 5 female students
and 5 male students each who used the TikTok application and were active
regarding viral issues which were used as students' interpersonal communication,
with an average use of the TikTok application of 3- 5 hours per day. The research
results show that the dynamics of interpersonal communication change in the use
of social media TikTok among students at SMP Negeri 2 Wonosobo, Tanggamus
Regency. It can be concluded that there are positive and negative impacts related
to aspects of interpersonal communication. From the five aspects of interpersonal
communication openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude and
equality were found. The positive impact can comfort feelings of not being in the
mood, exchange up to date information and knowledge, create a sense of
humanity, empathy for mutual help, self-confidence, and tolerance between
friends of different religions and cultures. The negative impact of bullying on
students (bullying), narcissism, dancing around, not looking at the appropriate
place, saying inappropriate new terms.
