N2  - Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah 81,3% Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Merasa belum memiliki kesiapan menjadi seorang guru yang dipengaruhi oleh persepsi profesi guru, minat menjadi guru dan lingkungan keluarga, yang terbukti dari hasil kuesioner penelitian pendahuluan.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi terhadap profesi guru, minat untuk menjadi guru, serta lingkungan keluarga, baik secara individual maupun bersamaan, terhadap tingkat kesiapan mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Lampung dalam mempersiapkan diri menjadi seorang guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif verifikatif dengan desain ex post facto.
Sampel yang diambil dari populasi berjumlah 272 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 162 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa persepsi profesi guru, minat menjadi guru, dan lingkungan keluarga memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan, baik secara terpisah maupun secara simultan, terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa untuk menjadi guru. Data analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut berkontribusi sebesar 54,3% terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dianalisis dalam penelitian ini.

Background of the Study 81.3% of Economics Education students feel unprepared to become teachers, as evidenced by a preliminary research questionnaire. Factors such as students? perceptions of the teaching profession, their interest in becoming teachers, and their family environment influence their readiness to pursue a teaching career. Objective of the StudyThis study aims to analyze the influence of perceptions of the teaching profession, interest in becoming a teacher, and family environment?both individually and collectively?on the level of readiness among students of the Economics Education Program at the University of Lampung in preparing themselves to become teachers. This research adopts a descriptive-verificative approach using an ex post facto design. A sample of 162 students was selected from a total population of 272 using a simple random sampling technique. Based on the analysis, it was found that perceptions of the teaching profession, interest in becoming a teacher, and the family environment have a significant influence, both individually and simultaneously, on students' readiness to become teachers. The data analysis shows that these three variables contribute 54.3% to the students' readiness, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not analyzed in this study.
