        abstract = {This research aims to determine the level of speaking ability of students who use
the Simply Learn French application. By using the Simply Learn French application
for students' speaking skills, it is hoped that it can improve student learning
outcomes in French subjects. The place for data collection in this research was at
SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. The population studied was 149 students. while the
sample chosen by the researcher was 29 students. The method in this research uses
an experimental design with a one group pretest posttest research design. This
research contains the learning outcomes of class XI MIPA 2 students at SMAN 16
Bandar Lampung after using the Simply Learn French application. Calculation of
the data produced in this research uses SPSS 22. So that the value of student
learning outcomes can be known after being given the pretest, treatment and
posttest. This research uses validity, reliability, normality tests, hypothesis tests,
homogeneity tests and N-Gain tests. This is done to get the student's final learning
score, so that the results can be said to be valid data. The research results show that
there is a slight increase in student learning outcomes after using the Simply Learn
French application. This can be seen from the student's highest pretest score
reaching 62 while the student's highest posttest score reached 82.
