%X Minyak sawit merah merupakan hasil olahan buah sawit tanpa melalui proses  bleaching. Kandungan karotenoid didalam minyak sawit merah dapat rusak ketika  pemanasan sehingga perlu alternatif pengolahan minyak sawit merah menjadi  produk yang tidak melibatkan proses pemanasan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui produk agroindustri berbasis minyak sawit merah yang  memiliki prospek paling potensial dan mengetahui kelayakan secara finansial dari  agroindustri berbasis minyak sawit merah yang terpilih berdasarkan prospek yang  paling potensial. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survey.  Informasi dan data yang di dapatkan diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan Metode  Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE), serta analisis finansial. Hasil MPE menunjukan  bahwa produk es krim merupakan produk yang paling potensial untuk  dikembangkan dengan nilai akhir terbesar yaitu 4783. Hasil analisis finansial  menunjukan bahwa rencana pembangunan agroindustri es krim berbasis minyak  sawit merah di Provinsi Lampung layak untuk dikembangkan dengan nilai kriteria  kelayakan investasi yakni NPV sebesar Rp2.459.491.240 ; Net B/C rasio sebesar  5.54 ; IRR sebesar 111% dan PP selama 0,77 tahun.  Kata kunci: Minyak Sawit Merah, MPE, Analisis Finansial, Es Krim  Red palm oil is the result of processing palm fruit without going through a bleaching  process. The carotenoid content in red palm oil can be damaged when heated, so  there is a need for alternative processing of red palm oil into products that do not  involve high heating processes. This research aims to determine which red palm  oil-based agro-industry products have the most potential prospects and determine  the financial feasibility of the selected red palm oil-based agro-industry based on  the most potential prospects. The method used in this research is the survey method.  The information and data obtained are processed and analyzed using the  Exponential Comparison Method (MPE), as well as financial analysis. The MPE  results show that the ice cream product is the product with the most potential to be  developed with the largest final value, namely 4783. The results of the financial  analysis show that the plan to develop an ice cream agro-industry based on red palm  oil in Lampung Province is feasible to develop with an investment feasibility  criteria value, namely an NPV of IDR 2 ,459,491,240 ; Net B/C ratio of 5.54; IRR  is 111% and PP is 0.77 years.
