"Emas dan perak merupakan salah satu logam yang saat ini sedang diminati\r\nsebagai opsi investasi. Harga emas dan perak berfluktuasi signifikan, sehingga\r\nperamalan harga emas dan perak berjangka sangat penting untuk menilai\r\nkelayakannya sebagai investasi yang menguntungkan. Salah satu metode yang\r\ndapat digunakan untuk melakukan peramalan terhadap harga emas dan perak yaitu\r\ndengan menggunakan metode Vector Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average\r\nExogenous (VARIMAX). Namun, VARIMAX masih mempunyai kelemahan,\r\nkarena asumsi yang disyaratkan linieritas. Padahal, residual yang dihasilkan\r\nmempunya komponen tidak linier. Disisi lain terdapat metode Bidirectional Long\r\nShort-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM). Metode Bi-LSTM memiliki keunggulan\r\ndibandingkan metode VARIMAX, yaitu dapat menangani data tidak linier. Oleh\r\nkarena itu, penelitian ini menerapkan metode hybrid VARIMAX – Bi-LSTM\r\nberdasarkan keunggulan masing-masing metode untuk menangani masalah linier\r\ndan tidak linier. Metode hybrid VARIMAX – Bi-LSTM memiliki 2 model utama\r\nyaitu model Bi-LSTM pertama untuk prediksi dan peramalan data prediksi\r\nVARIMAX dan model Bi-LSTM kedua untuk melakukan prediksi dan peramalan\r\ndata residual VARIMAX. Model hybrid VARIMAX – Bi-LSTM dengan skema\r\npembagian 90% data pelatihan 10% data pengujian pada penelitian ini\r\nmenghasilkan tingkat akurasi paling tinggi dan menghasilkan nilai RMSE dan\r\nMAPE lebih kecil dibandingkan skema pembagian data lainnya.\r\n\r\nKata kunci: Peramalan, Harga emas dan perak, Hybrid VARIMAX – Bi-LSTM\r\n\r\nGold and silver are among the metals that are currently favored as investment\r\noptions. The prices of gold and silver fluctuate significantly, making the\r\nforecasting of future gold and silver prices crucial for assessing their viability as\r\nprofitable investments. One method that can be used to forecast the prices of gold\r\nand silver is the Vector Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Exogenous\r\n(VARIMAX) method. However, VARIMAX still has a weakness due to the\r\nassumption of linearity. In reality, the residuals produced have nonlinear\r\ncomponents. On the other hand, there is the Bidirectional Long Short-Term\r\nMemory (Bi-LSTM) method. The Bi-LSTM method has an advantage over the\r\nVARIMAX method, as it can handle nonlinear data. Therefore, this study applies\r\na hybrid VARIMAX – Bi-LSTM method based on the advantages of each method\r\nto handle both linear and nonlinear problems. The hybrid VARIMAX – Bi-LSTM\r\nmethod has two main models: the first Bi-LSTM model for predicting and\r\nforecasting the VARIMAX prediction data, and the second Bi-LSTM model for\r\npredicting and forecasting the VARIMAX residual data.
