The objective of this research is to find out the difference between before and after students watch English video content on YouTube (Nas Daily video about descriptive text). This was quantitative research with 30 samples taken from the second grade of SMP Yayasan Badrullah Latif Natar. The researcher used one group pretest-posttest design in conducting the process of data collection. The result showed that watching Nas Daily video content can make a significant difference in students’ vocabulary mastery. Based on the result, there is an improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery after watching the Nas Daily video. It was proved by the increase in the students’ mean score in the post-test which was higher than in the pre-test. Indicatively, the students’ mean score increased from 74.1 to 89.6 while the gain score was 15.5 with 22.223 scores from the T-Test.
