Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku  cerita bergambar berbasis pendekatan CRT untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca  peserta didik di kelas rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian R&D,  dengan mengunakan model ADDIE. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta  didik kelas II di SD Al Kautsar yang berjumlah 168 peserta didik. Sampel  penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 56 peserta  didik. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel.  Teknik analisis data menggunakan normalitas dan homogenitas. Adapun hasil  penelitian ini menjukkan bahwa penerapan buku cerita bergambar berbasis  pendekatan CRT efektif untuk diterapkan di sekolah dasar karena dapat  meningkatkan literasi membaca peserta didik di kelas rendah. Hal ini juga dapat  dibuktikan dari hasil perolehan p erhitungan data pada kelas eksperimen  diperoleh sebesar 0,90 < 0,05 artinya signifikan dan terdapat pengaruh penerapan  buku cerita bergambar berbasis pendekatan CRT.  Kata Kunci: Buku Cerita Bergambar, Pendekatan CRT, Peningkatan Literasi.  The problem in this research begins with the results of an analysis of students'  needs in learning activities. This research aims to produce picture story books  based on the CRT approach to improve the reading literacy of students in lower  grades. This research is a type of R&D research, using the ADDIE model. The  population of this study was all class II students at SD Al Kautsar, totaling 168  students. The sample for this research was determined using a purposive sampling  technique totaling 56 students. Data collection tools use valid and reliable test  instruments. Data analysis techniques use normality and homogeneity. The results  of this research show that the application of picture story books based on the CRT  approach is effective in elementary schools because it can increase the reading  literacy of students in lower grades. This can also be proven from the results of  data calculations in the experimental class which were obtained at 0.90 <0.05,  meaning that it was significant and there was an influence from the application of  picture story books based on the CRT approach.
