"Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun belum berkembang secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan game digital terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Pre-Experimental dan desain penelitian One-Group Pre-Treatment–Post-Treatment yaitu desain penelitian yang dilakukan pada satu kelompok saja tanpa kelompok pembanding. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Harapan yang berjumlah 22 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi berupa checklist dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji wilcoxon signed rank test. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai Asymp.Sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan game digital terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Harapan.\r\n\r\nThe problem in this study is that the initial reading ability of children aged 5-6 years has not developed optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of digital games on the early reading ability of children aged 5-6 years. This research is a type of quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental research method and a One-Group Pre-Treatment–Post-Treatment research design, which is a research design that is carried out in one group only without a comparison group. The sample of this study is 5-6 years old children in Harapan Kindergarten which totals 22 children. Data collection techniques using observation sheets in the form of checklists and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of the study obtained the value of Asymp.Sig. (2 tailed) of 0.00 < 0.05 Ha were accepted, which means that there is an influence of the use of digital games on the early reading ability of children aged 5-6 years in Harapan Kindergarten."^^ .
