%T PROSES PENCIPTAAN TARI SEMBAH RAGOM GAWI
DI SANGGAR GALUH PARWATI KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
%X Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penciptaan tari Sembah
Ragom Gawi di sanggar Galuh Parwati Kabupaten Pesawaran. Menurut
koreografer yaitu Eris Aprilia, S. Sn., terdapat metode dalam melaksanakan proses
penciptaan tari yaitu dengan menggunakan metode konstruksi I, II, III, IV, dan V
yang dikemukakan oleh Jacqueline Smith pada tahun 1985. Metode yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu
observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu
pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penciptaan tari Sembah Ragom Gawi
menggunakan metode konstruksi yang dikemukakan oleh Jacqueline Smith yaitu:
Konstruksi I melalui tahap rangsang auditif, visual, kinestetik, menentukan tipe tari
serta mode penyajian tari. Konstruksi II dengan menentukan motif, jenis motif,
desain tari dari segi waktu, desain tari dari segi ruang, motif menuju komposisi.
Konstruksi III melalui tahap kelompok sebagai elemen ekspresif, motif
pengembangan dan variasi, aspek waktu, aspek ruang. Konstruksi IV melalui
tahapan bentuk tari. Konstruksi V tahapan evaluasi. Pada tahapan evaluasi, karya
mengalami penambahan gerak baru setelah pementasan pertama. Hal ini terjadi
karena adanya proses evaluasi karya yang dilakukan untuk memperbaiki karya tari
Sembah Ragom Gawi.

The study was intended to describe the process of the creation of Sembah Ragom
Gawi Dance at Sanggar Galuh Parwati. According to the choreographer, Eris
Aprilia, s.sn. There is methods for carrying out the process of dance creation using
construction methods I, II, III, IV, and V proposed by Jacqueline Smith in 1985.
The methods used in this research are qualitative with data collection, techniques
of observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis techniques used
were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
Studies have shown that the process of shaping the Ragom Gawi Dance involves
construction methods presented by Jacqueline Smith: Construction I, through the
auditory, visual, kinesthetic stage, determining the type of dance and mode of dance
presentation. Construction ii, by determining motif, a type of motive, Dance design
by the terms of time, a spatial dance design, a motif toward composition.
Construction III, through the group stage as an expressive element, motive for
development and variation, aspect of time, aspect of space. Construction IV,
through the whole form of dance. Construction V is an evaluation steps. At the
evaluation steps, the creation developed new moves after the first performance. This
is because a work evaluation is being done to improve the approach work of the
Sembah Ragom Gawi Dance.
