abstract: This research aims to analyze the influence of population density, human
development index, and investment realization on economic growth in Sumatra. The
method applied in this research is a dynamic panel data analysis method using the
Generalized Method of Moments (GMM). The boundaries of this research are ten
provinces in Sumatra in the period 2013 to 2022. The independent variables used
are population density, human development index and investment realization. And
the dependent variable used is economic growth..

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepadatan penduduk, indeks
pembangunan manusia, dan realisasi investasi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Sumatera.
Metode yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis data panel dinamis dengan
menggunakan Generalized Method Of Moments (GMM). Batasan penelitian ini adalah sepuluh
provinsi di Sumatera pada periode tahun 2013 sampai 2022. Variabel bebas yang digunakan
adalah kepadatan penduduk, indeks pembangunan manusia dan realisasi investasi. Dan
variabel terikat yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi.
