Hal ini ditunjukkan berdasarkan hasil observasi. wawancara dengan peserta didik, dan angket terhadap peserta didik serta data penunjang melalui assesmen diagnostik kognitif dan nonkognitif. Dari data tersebut menunjukan bahwa rendahnya motivasi dan nilai pelajaran teks eksplanasi peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh belum tersedianya bahan ajar pembelajaran yang variatif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menghasilkan produk bahan ajar pembelajaran dalam bentuk e modul berbasis project based learning, menguji kelayakan produk dan menguji efektivitas produk untuk peserta didik SMK kleas XI pada pembelajaran teks eksplanasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development yang terdiri atas 7 tahapan yaitu (1) analisis potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain produk, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba kelayakan produk, (7) uji efektivitas produk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK N Pagelaran utara, SMKS Muhammadiyah Pagelaran, dan di SMK N Kota Agung Timur Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan lembar tes penilaian di 6 kelas yang menjadi objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) bahan ajar teks eksplanasi dalam bentuk e modul berbasis project based learning pada peserta didik SMK kelas XI berhasil dikembangkan dan sudah divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi. (2) Bahan ajar teks eksplanasi dalam bentuk e modul berbasis project based learning dinyatakan sangat layak oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan praktisi dengan persentase penilaian 92%, 97%, dan 95%. (3) Berdasarkan pada uji efektivitas, e modul teks eksplanasi berbasis project based learning mendapatkan indeks rata- rata N-gain sebesar (0.61), dan (0,48) di kelas XI SMK N Pagelaran Utara termasuk dalam kategori sedang sehingga e modul teks eksplanasi dinyatakan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : e modul, project based learning, teks eksplanasi The lack of teaching materials used by educators, especially in the teaching of explanatory texts, has led to low learning outcomes among students. This is shown based on the results of observations, interviews with students, questionnaires to students, and supporting data through cognitive and non- cognitive diagnostic assessments. These data indicate that the low motivation and grades in explanatory text lessons among students are influenced by the unavailability of varied teaching materials. Based on this, the aim of this research is to produce teaching material products in the form of e-modules based on project-based learning, to test the feasibility of the product, and to test the effectiveness of the product for Grade XI vocational high school students in the teaching of explanatory texts. This research uses the Research and Development method, which consists of 7 stages: (1) analysis of potentials and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) product design validation, (5) product revision, (6) product feasibility testing, (7) product effectiveness testing. This research was conducted at SMK N Pagelaran Utara, SMKS Muhammadiyah Pagelaran, and SMK N Kota Agung Timur. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and assessment test sheets in 6 classes that were the objects of the research. The results showed that (1) teaching materials for explanatory texts in the form of emodules based on project-based learning for Grade XI vocational high school students were successfully developed and validated by material experts, media experts, and practitioners. (2) Teaching materials for explanatory texts in the form of e-modules based on project-based learning were declared very feasible by material experts, media experts, and practitioners with assessment percentages of 92%, 97%, and 95%. (3) Based on the effectiveness test, the explanatory text e- module based on project-based learning obtained an average N-gain index of (0.61) and (0.48) in Grade XI SMK N Pagelaran Utara, which falls into the medium category, thus the explanatory text e-module is declared effective for use in teaching.
