The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study explain that Charles Perrault's fairy tales have different themes. The characters in the fairy tales have diverse characters that are conveyed in dialogue or narrative fragments. The plot in the three fairy tales is a forward plot. All three fairy tales by Charles Perrault use a third-person omniscient point of view. The messages contained in the three fairy tales are diverse. The results of this study can be applied in learning French at level A1-A2 on French literature material or as material for reading skills.
