EVALUASI RASIONALITAS PENGGUNAAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI
PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI INTALANSI RAWAT JALAN 
RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH DADI TJOKRODIPO

Introduction: Hypertension is a disorder in the circulatory system that causes blood
pressure to rise above normal limits. The number of hypertension patients in Bandar
Lampung in 2023 increased to 23.6%. Effective management and regular monitoring can
help reduce the risk of serious complications and death related to hypertension. This study
aims to evaluate the rationality of antihypertensive drug use in hypertension patients. 

Methods: This is a descriptive study with retrospective data from the medical records of 
outpatient hypertension patients at Dr. A Dadi Tjokrodipo Hospital in 2023. The evaluation
of the rationality of antihypertensive drug use is based on the 2014 JNC VIII guidelines.

Results: The parameters for determining the outcomes of the study were appropriate
indication, appropriate drug, appropriate dosage, and appropriate patient. The results
showed that out of 80 patients, 60 were rational, with an evaluation of the appropriateness
of antihypertensive drug selection based on: appropriate indication 100%, appropriate
drug 78.75%, appropriate dosage 96.8%, and appropriate patient 100%.
 
Conclusion: Based on the evaluation of the rationality of antihypertensive drugs in
outpatient care at Dr. A Dadi Tjokrodipo Hospital in 2023, it was found that the
appropriate indication, drug, and dosage resulted in 60 patients (75%) having the correct
drug selection.

Latar Belakang: Hipertensi adalah gangguan pada sistem peredaran darah yang
menyebabkan tekanan darah meningkat di atas batas normal. Angka pasien
hipertensi tahun 2023 di Kota Bandar Lampung meningkat mencapai 23,6%.
Penanganan yang efektif dan pemantauan rutin dapat membantu mengurangi risiko
komplikasi serius dan kematian terkait hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan
mengevaluasi rasionalitas penggunaan obat antihipertensi pada pasien hipertensi. 
Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan data retrospektif
dari rekam medis pasien hipertensi di rawat jalan Rumah Sakit DR A Dadi
Tjokrodipo tahun 2023. Evaluasi rasionalitas obat antihipertensi berdasarkan
literatur JNC VIII tahun 2014.
Hasil: Parameter penentuan hasil penelitian berdasarkan tepat indikasi, tepat obat,
tepat dosis serta serta tepat pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari 80
pasien terdapat 60 pasien yang rasional serta evaluasi ketepatan pemilihan obat
antihipertensi pada pasien hipertensi berdasarkan tepat indikasi 100%, tepat obat
78,75%, tepat dosis 96,8%. dan tepat pasien 100%.
Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan evaluasi rasionalitas obat hipertensi di rawat jalan
Rumah Sakit DR A Dadi Tjokrodipo tahun 2023 dikatakan tepat indikasi, obat, dan
dosis menunjukkan hasil sebesar 60 pasien (75%) tepat pemilihan obatnya.
