PENGKAYA MEDIA PERTUMBUHAN Tetraselmis sp.Abstrak
Tetraselmis sp. merupakan mikroalga yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi.
Pertumbuhan Tetrasemis sp. dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan dan nutrien.
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui konsentrasi optimum media air kelapa
pada pertumbuhan Tetraselmis sp.. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium
Budidaya Perikanan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung selama NovemberDesember 2011. Penelitian ini menggunakan enam perlakuan yaitu 0%, 1%, 2%,
3%, 4%, dan 5% dengan 3 ulangan untuk setiap perlakuan. Kerapatan sel tertinggi
(54,75.104 sel / ml) terjadi di media air kelapa 5% pada jam ke-168. Berdasarkan
data, perlakuan 0%, 1%, 2%, 3% dan 4% berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan 5%
(ANOVA, uji perbandingan berganda).

Abstract
Tetraselmis sp. monoculture high potential economic value. Tetrasemis sp. growth
influenced by environmental and nutritional conditions. The research objective
was to determine the optimum concentration of coconut water media for the
growth of Tetraselmis sp.. The research was conducted in Aquaculture
Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung during November to
December 2011 . Complete randomaized was used in this experiment six
treatments namely 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5% with 3 replication for each were
applied. The highest cell density (54,75.104 cells/ml) was occurred in 5% coconut
water media on the 168 hours. Based on the data, 0%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 4%
treatment were significantly different with 5% treatment (ANOVA test, multiple
comparison test).
