PADA PEMBELAJARAN TARI BEDANA SISWA KELAS VIII.1
SMP NEGERI 1 MARGA TIGA KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMURABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode ceramah dan
demontrasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tari Bedana siswa kelas
VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Marga Tiga Kabupaten Lampung Timur.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan
menggunakan teori pembelajaran, metode ceramah dan metode demontrasi.
Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru seni budaya dan siswa kelas VIII.1
yang berjumlah 36 siswa yang terdiri dari 14 siswa putra dan 22 siswa putri.
Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan
wawancara. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes praktik, pengamatan aktivitas siswa
dan pengamatan aktivitas guru.
Penggunaan metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran tari Bedana digunakan guru
dalam menjelaskan materi sejarah, fungsi dan perkembangan tari Bedana,
sedangkan metode demontrasi digunakan guru dalam mendemontrasikan 9 ragam
gerak tari Bedana yaitu tahtim, khesek gantung, khesek injing, jimpang, humbak
molo, ayun, gantung, belitut dan gelek. Dalam pelaksanaan metode ceramah dan
demontrasi pada pembelajaran tari Bedana memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan.
Kelebihan metode ceramah dan demontrasi yaitu pembelajaran lebih mudah dan
menarik, sedangkan kekurangan metode ceramah dan demontrasi yaitu
pembelajaran memerlukan penguasaan materi dan persiapan yang matang.
Hasil pembelajaran tari Bedana siswa kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Marga Tiga
ditinjau dari kemampuan menari keseluruhan aspek berkategori cukup. Aspek
teknik gerak tergolong dalam kategori cukup yakni siswa mampu memperagakan
3-5 dari 9 ragam gerak tari Bedana dengan teknik gerak kepala, tangan dan kaki
yang tepat sesuai dengan yang diajarkan. Aspek ketepatan hitungan tergolong
dalam kategori cukup yakni siswa mampu menarikan 3-5 dari 9 ragam gerak tari
Bedana dengan hitungan yang tepat sesuai dengan yang diajarkan. Aspek hafalan
gerak tergolong dalam kategori baik yakni siswa mampu memperagakan urutan
ragam gerak tari Bedana akan tetapi tingkat kesalahan 1-2 kali pada 9 ragam
gerak tari Bedana.
ABSTRACT
This research aimed to describe the implementation of lecturing and
demonstration method and the its result on Bedana dance teaching learning at the
VIII.1 class of SMPN 1 Marga Tiga, East Lampung.
The research method used in this research was qualitative descriptive by using
lecturing and demonstration method. The data in this research was taken from the
art and culture teacher in that school and from the VIII.1 class which consisted of
total 36 students, in which there were 14 male students and 22 female students,
The collecting data techniques used in this research were observation,
documentation, and interview. The research instruments of this research were
practical test, students’ activities observation, and teacher’s activities observation.
Use lecturing method in teaching Bedana dance was used by the teacher in
explaining history material, function and developing Bedana dance, meanwhile
demonstration method to be used for demonstrating 9 gesture kinds of Bedana
dance that is tahtim, khesek gantung, khesek injing, jimpang, humbak molo, ayun,
gantung, belitut dan gelek. In conducting lecturing and demonstration method in
teaching Bedana dance have more and lack. The more of lecturing and
demonstration method was the learning is easier and interesting. Meanwhile, the
lack of lecturing and demonstration method were the learning process which need
of covering the material and a good preparation.
The teaching result of Bedana dance at the VIII.1 Class Of SMPN 1 Marga Tiga
consider from the ability of dance on all of the aspects include in category
enough. The aspect of gesture technique include in category enough that is the
students are able to practice 3-5 from 9 gesture kinds of Bedana dance with
gesture technique of head, hand and feet with exactly appropriate with what was
tough. The aspect of exact account are include in category enough that is the
students are able to dancing 3-5 from 9 gesture kinds of Bedana dance with the
exact account appropriate with what was tough. The aspect of remembering the
the gesture include in category good that is the students are able to practice the
steps of gesture kinds in Bedana dance but the level of false 1-2 times on 9
