PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM ASSISTED
INDIVIDUALIZATION DI SMPN 5
BLAMBANGAN UMPUABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendesain perencanaan pembelajaran, (2)
menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (3) menganalisis instrumen tes
pembelajaran, dan (4) menganalisis peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa
menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI.
Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang
dilaksanakan di kelas VII.2 dan VII.3 SMPN 5 Blambangan Umpu dan terdiri dari
tiga siklus. Siklus Pertama menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI
dengan media alat percobaan sederhana. Siklus kedua dengan media. Siklus ketiga
menggunakan LCD.
Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) desain RPP sangat baik dengan sintaks: a) apersepsi
dan motivasi dengan memberikan pertanyaan dan menampilkan media alat
percobaan sederhana, b) pembentukan kelompok, c) pembagian LKS, d)
penyampaian materi secara garis besar oleh guru, e) masing-masing siswa belajar
secara individu, f) diskusi kelompokdan melaksanakan percobaan menggunakan
LKS, g) presentasi dan tanya jawab hasil diskusi kelompok, h) tes di akhir
pembelajaran, i) penghargaan kelompok, j) guru memberikan pendalaman
klasikal, k) merangkum kesimpulan pembelajaran. (2) aktivitas guru yang paling
menonjol yaitu melakukan apersepsi, memotivasi siswa, membacakan SK, KD,
indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran, memberikan tes di akhir pembelajaran dan
pada aktivitas siswa yang paling menonjol yaitu bekerja sama dan bertukar
informasi. (3) instrument tes menggunakan 10 soal esai dengan validitas dan
reliabilitas sangat tinggi. (4) Prestasi belajar IPA kelas VII.2 dan VII.3 mengalami
peningkatan, secara berturut-turut ketuntasan belajar pada siklus pertama sebesar
56,67% dan 46,67%, siklus kedua sebesar 66,67% dan 56,67% dan siklus ketiga
sebesar 73,33% dan 76,67%.

ABSTRACT
IMPROVING SCIENCE LEARNING USING COOPERATIVE
LEARNING MODEL OF TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION IN
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL OF 5 BLAMBANGAN UMPU

The purposes of this research were (1) to design lesson plan, (2) to analyze
the implementation of learning, (3) to analyze learning test instrument, and (4) to
analyze the improvement of student achievement using cooperative learning
model of TAI.
This research consist of three cycles. The first cycle using cooperative
learning model of TAI type with media tools simple experiment. The second cycle
with media images. The third cycle time using the LCD.
The research results were (1) lesson plan design with syntax: a) apperception
and motivation by providing questions and display media tools simple
experiment, b) the establishment of the group, c) division of worksheet, d)
delivery of content in outline by the teacher, e ) each individual student learning,
f) discussion groups and carry out experiments using worksheets, g) presentation
and question and answer results of group discussions, h) test at the end of the
lesson, i) awards group, j) gives the deepening classical teacher, k) summarizes
the conclusions of learning. (2) the most prominent teacher’s activities are doing
apperception, motivating the student, reading the SK, KD, indicator and learning
purpose, giving the test at the end of the learning activity, and student’s the most
prominent activity are cooperating and information changing. (3) Instrument test
learning used 10 essay questions with very high validity and reliability. (4)
Learning achievement gradually increased in grade VII.2 and VII.3, followed the
following order, at the first cycle it increased by 56, 67 % and 46, 67 %, at the
second cycle it increased by 66, 67 % and 56, 67 % and at the third cycle it
increased by 73, 33 % and 76, 67 %.
