Universitas Lampung bedasarkan parameter penilian investasi. Parameter
penilaian yang akan digunakan yaitu Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of
Return (IRR), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), dan Payback Period (PP), dan analisis
sensitivitas.

The construction of the University of Lampung Integrated Waste Treatment Plant
TPST was one of efforts to improve the solid waste management in the university.
The purpose of this study was to determine whether the investment was feasibility
based on engineering investment analysis parameters. The assessment parameters
utilized were Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit Cost
Ratio (BCR), and Payback Period (PP). A sensitivity analysis was also carried out
to further examined the results. The primary data used were the construction cost
of TPST Unila and waste generation based on the number of Unila's students and
staffs. While the secondary data used include interest and inflation rates obtained
from Bank of Indonesian. The results shows that the construction of the Unila TPST
does not meet all the investment assessment parameters, however the Unila TPST
construction was continued because from an economic and environmental point of
view this is very beneficial. The benefit among other things are: it improves waste
management at Unila so as to create a better, healthier and more beautiful campus
environment, reduce air pollution, as well as reduce the burden of the City of
Bandar Lampung solid waste landfill site of Bakung.
