YELLOW MENGGUNAKAN KATALIS ZEOLIT-Y-ZnOA Photodegradation study of Remazol Golden Yellow textile dye has been carried
out using Y-ZnO zeolite as a catalyst. The purpose of this study was to determine
the effect of pH and optimum light intensity and the effect of adding Y-ZnO zeolite
as a catalyst for degrading Remazol Golden Yellow textile dyes. This research was
conducted using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer and catalyst characterization using
SEM and XRD. With the degrading method and light intensity of 8000 lux, a
decrease in the concentration of Remazol Golden Yellow was obtained at pH 5
with a percentage of 10.014% for 120 minutes. with the addition of zeolite y by 1
mg, the concentration of Remazol Golden Yellow decreased by 94.34% for 120
minutes, and the addition of zeolite Y-ZnO as much as 1 mg decreased the
concentration of 97.58% for 120 minutes. based on the measurement results using
the Y-ZnO zeolite catalyst, this is going well, this is indicated by the percent
decrease in the dissolved concentration contained in Remazol Golden Yellow after
photodegradation

Telah dilakukan penelitian fotodegradasi pewarna tekstil Remazol Golden Yellow
menggunakan katalis zeolit Y-ZnO. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui
pengaruh pH dan kuat cahaya optimum serta pengaruh penambahan zeolit Y-ZnO
sebagai katalis pendegradasi zat warna tekstil Remazol Golden Yellow. Penelitian
ini dilakukan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis serta karakterisasi katalis
menggunakan SEM dan XRD. Dengan metode fotodegradasi dan kuat cahaya
sebesar 8000 lux diperoleh penurunan konsentrasi Remazol Golden Yellow pada
pH 5 dengan persentase 10,014% selama 120 menit. Pada penambahan zeolit Y
sebesar 1 mg penurunan konsentrasi Remazol Golden Yellow terjadi penurunan
konsentrasi sebanyak 94,34 % selama 120 menit. Serta penambahan zeolit Y-ZnO
sebanyak 1 mg terjadi penurunan konsentrasi sebanyak 97,58% selama 120 menit.
Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa fotodegradasi Remazol Golden
Yellow menggunakan katalis zeolit Y-ZnO terjadi dengan baik hal ini ditunjukkan
dengan persen penurunan konsentrasi terlarut yang terdapat pada Remazol Golden
Yellow setelah dilakukan fotodegradasi.
