BEGAWI ADAT PERKAWINAN UNTUK SISWA KELAS X SMAPermasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini ialah prosedur pengembangan
LKPD teks percakapan berbasis begawi adat perkawinan dan kelayakan LKPD.
Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan
produk LKPD dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk “LKPD Teks Percakapan
Berbasis Begawi Adat Perkawinan untuk Siswa kelas X SMA”.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan
mengadopsi tujuh dari sepuluh langkah penelitian pengembangan Borg dan Gall.
Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian
bahwa (1) produk LKPD teks percakapan yang dihasilkan dengan desain struktur
fisik sebagai berikut: a) halaman sampul (cover), b) identitas LKPD, c) kata
pengantar, d) petunjuk penggunaan LKPD, e) sistematika LKPD, KI, KD IPK dan
tujuan pembelajaran, f) pembelajaran I konsep awal (pendalaman materi, tugas
individu, tugas, kelompok, penilaian), g) pembelajaran II (pendalaman materi teks

percakapan di dalam begawi adat perkawinan, tugas individu, tugas kelompok,
penilaian), h) rangkuman, i) evaluasi, dan j) daftar pustaka dan (2) LKPD teks
percakapan yang dikembangkan tergolong ke dalam kategori sangat layak.
Perolehan hasil uji coba ahli mendapatkan kategori sangat layak dengan
penilaianahli materi 89,1,ahli media 87,5 dan praktisi mendapatkan penilaian95,4.
Selain uji validasi para ahli, uji kelayakan berdasarkan pendapat dan pandangan
siswa sebagai pengguna LKPD juga diperlukan. Hasil dari uji kelayakan
berdasarkan pendapat dan pandangan siswa sebagai pengguna LKPD memperoleh
penilaian 94,2 dengan kategori sangat layak. Adapun kelayakan berdasarkan
pendapat dan pandangan siswa sebagai penggunaan meliputi tigas aspek, yakni
penilaian aspek sajian memperoleh penilaian 92,8, aspek kebahasaan memperoleh
94,1 dan aspek kegrafisan memperolah penilaian 95,9.

The problem discussed in this study is the procedure for developing a worksheet
conversational text based on marriage customs and the feasibility whorksheet.
Based on these problems, this study aims to product worksheet and describe the
feasibility of the product "Worksheet Conversation Text Based on
Begawi’sMarriage for Grade X Senior High School".
This study uses the Research and Development method by adopting seven of the
ten steps of Borg and Gall development research. The research instrument used a
Likert scale and a questionnaire. The results of the study were that (1) worksheet
product conversational text were produced with the following physical structure
design: a) cover page, b) worksheet identity, c) introduction, d) instructions for
using worksheet, e) systematics worksheet, KI, KD IPK and learning objectives,
f) learning I initial concepts (exploration of material, individual assignments,

assignments, groups, assessments), g) learning II (deepening of conversational
text material in begawi’s marriage, individual assignments, group assignments,
assessments), h) summary, i) evaluation, and j) bibliography and (2) the
developed conversational text worksheets are classified into the very feasible
category. The expert trial results obtained a very decent category with an
assessment of material experts 89.1, media experts 87.5 and practitioners getting
an assessment of 95.4. In addition to the validation test of experts, a feasibility test
based on the opinions and views of students as worksheet users is also needed.
The results of the feasibility test based on the opinions and views of students as
worksheet users obtained an assessment of 94.2 with a very decent category. The
feasibility based on the opinions and views of students as use includes three
aspects, namely the assessment of the presentation aspect getting an assessment of
92.8, the linguistic aspect getting 94.1 and the graphic aspect getting an
assessment of 95.9.

BASED ON LOCAL CULTURE TO TEACH NARRATIVE
WRITINGIn learning a foreign language, there are four skills that should be mastered by the
students, namely, listening, speaking, reading, and also writing. This research was focusing to
present the material of local culture by using Group Investigation as a bridge to deliver the
material. The text used in this research was narrative short story. The objectives of the research
were (1) to discover the significant effect of use the group investigation based on local culture (2)
to find out whether there significant difference in students’ writing before and after being taught
through group investigation based on local culture and group investigation based on foreign
culture, and (3) to find out significant correlation between students’ motivation and students’
writing ability in applying Group Investigation based on local culture.
The research was control group pretest and posttest design. The sample of this research
was 30 students of SMK PGRI 1 Limau as experimental and control class. The instruments used in
this study were questionnaire and writing test. The data of the research were collected through pre-
test and post-test. The result of pretest and posttest in control class and experimental class was
accumulated in the mean gain for writing test. The experimental class gained 10.08, while control
class gained 5.13. For questionnaire the researcher was comparing the mean result for both classes.
The pretest was 34.33, and for the posttest was 38,87.
The data collected from pre and post-tests were analyzed (1) by using independent sample
t test through SPSS 22.00 shows that sig (0.001< 0.05), (2) the second research question were
analyzed by using repeated measures t test showed tlevel = 4,397 > ttable = 2.048, (3) correlation
product moment was used in the third research question showed the Significant result (.000, .000,
.000, .009, .000) < Significant level (0.05). The results found that the implementation of group
investigation based on local culture in teaching and learning English improved students' writing
ability, there were significant differences between students in control class and experimental class,
then there was correlation between students’ motivation and students’ writing ability. Therefore,
the hypotheses of this study were accepted. There was a significant improvement in presenting
group investigation based on local culture towards students' motivation in writing. It could be
concluded that the presence of group investigation based on local culture increases students'
motivation in writing.

INCREASE WRITING ACHIEVEMENT OF STUDENTS OF
EXTROVERT AND INTROVERT PERSONALITIESThe use of teaching technique in teaching writing can encourage the students‘
achievement and the teacher can know how the students learn by their learning
style. Understanding students‘ personality becomes one of the success factors in
language learning. The objective of this research was to investigate the difference
between students‘ writing achievement by using clustering technique and KWL
technique, to reveal the difference of students‘ writing achievement between
introvert and extrovert students, and to find out the interaction between teaching
techniques and students‘ personality on their writing achievement. This research
was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Jatiagung Lampung Selatan with 56 students as
the sample. Experimental research was used in this research with factorial design
2x2. The data were collected using a questionnaire to classify the extrovert and
introvert students and the writing test (pretest and posttest). The result shows that
(1) the students in KWL group got a higher mean score than the students in
Clustering group. It could be seen from t-test = 2.020>t-table = 2.004 with the
significant level is lower than 0.05. It means that the KWL technique can help
students improve their writing achievement. (2) the students with introverted
personalities had higher achievement in writing descriptive text than those with
extroverted personalities, it could be seen from t-test = 2.317>t-table =2.004 with
the significant level <0.05. It can be confirmed that there is a difference between
students‘ writing achievement of extrovert and introvert students. (3) the last
finding of this research indicated an interaction between the techniques and
students‘ personality on the students writing achievement. F value of the corrected
model is 6.621, it is higher than Ftable = 4.03 with a significant value <0.05, and
the significant value of personality*technique is 0.006<0.05. It can be said that the
students‘ writing achievements are influenced by their personality and the use of
teaching techniques. Besides, both clustering and KWL techniques contributed to
teaching writing with the students‘ different personalities. KWL technique could
be applied to teaching writing, which the introvert students dominated. The
Clustering technique was also applicable to use for the extrovert students.
