Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Telah dilakukan analisis penurunan kualitas minyak pelumas pada kendaraan bermotor. Pada penelitian ini digunakan dua motor empat tak yaitu motor vixon tahun 2008 dan motor vixon tahun 2013 dengan pelumas yang digunakan Yamalube dengan SAE 10W-40. Parameter yang dianalisis adalah nilai viskositas dengan metode stormer (mengamati waktu alir fluida pada buret dan menggunakan persamaan Poiseuille), analisis warna dengan memanfaatkan nilai histogram grayscale pada pengolahan citra Delphi, dan analisis banyaknya bahan pengotor menggunakan sentifugasi. Pengukuran tiap parameter dilakukan setiap perubahan jarak tempuh motor yang semakin jauh. Karakteristik awal dengan pengujian buret, diperoleh persentase error sebesar 0,52% dan presentase akurasi sebesar 99,48%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin bertambah jarak tempuh motor, nilai viskositas pelumas mengalami penurunan. Untuk parameter analisis warna diperoleh nilai perbandingan rata-rata histogram grayscale dan perbandingan rata-rata nilai grayscale pelumas mengalami penurunan saat jarak tempuh kendaraan semakin jauh. Sedangkan parameter analisis banyaknya bahan pengotor tidak diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan perubahan siqnifikan, karena pelumas dengan bahan pengotor cukup homogen sehingga tidak dapat dilihat dengan kasat mata. Kata kunci: Grayscale, metode Stromer, sentrifugasi, viskositas. An analysis on reduced quality of motorbike engine lubricant has been conducted. This research used two Vixon 4-cycles engine motorbikes produced in 2008 and 2013, with Yamalube SAE 10W-40 as motor engine lubricant. The parameters are analyzed viscosity value using Stormer method (by observing fluid flow in a burette and using Poseuille equation), color analysis used grayscale histogram with Delphi image processing, and impurity analysis use centrifugation. Measurement of each parameter was conducted each time motorbike mileage increased. In this tested burette, the results were error percentage of 0.52% and accuracy percentage of 99.48%. The research results showed that the more increasing of motorbike mileage, the value of viscosity is decreased. The color analysis obtained ratio of the average value of grayscale histogram and ratio of the average value of grayscale lubricants decreased while motorbike mileage increasing. The impurity analysis showed no results that indicate a change siqnifikan, because impurity materials were homogenous enough so that they cannot be visually observed.
