Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru, pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian menggunakan metode ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMA Negeri sederajat yang berjumlah 172 guru, dengan sampel penelitian 56 guru yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik sample sistematik. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 48,1 %, ada pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 57,1 %, ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru mencapai 64,7 %. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin kuat gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja akan diikuti dengan tingginya kinerja guru, dan sebaliknya. EFFECT OF PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP STYLE AND WORK MOTIVATION OF TEACHERS ON TEACHER PERFORMANCE SMA NEGERI EQUAL IN THE DISTRICT BALIK BUKIT WESTERN LAMPUNG REGENCY IN 2014/2015 The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance, the influence of work motivation of teachers on teacher performance, the influence of principal’s leadership style and work motivation teachers on teacher performance. The research using the method of ex post facto. The population in this study were all teachers SMAN consisting of 172 teachers, with sample 56 teachers obtained using a systematic sample technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there is influence of the principal’s leadership style on teacher performance amounted to 48.1 %. There is the effect of work motivation of teachers on teacher performance of 57.1 %. There is the influence of the principal’s leadership style and work motivation of teacher performance reached 64.7 %. This shows that the stronger the principal’s leadership style and work motivation will be followed by the high performance of teachers, and vice versa.
