Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi-potensi daerah yang berpengaruh besar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Pringsewu selama tahun 2008 sampai dengan tahun 2013, dan seberapa besar sumbangan sektor-sektor potensial tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan data Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Kabupaten Pringsewu dan Provinsi Lampung tahun 2008 hingga tahun 2013. Data tersebut diperoleh dari data sekunder, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan data yang telah tersedia pada instansi terkait. Dalam skripsi ini digunakan model basis ekonomi yang tercermin pada analisis Location Quotient (LQ) yang dilengkapi analisis Shift Share, yang berguna untuk mengetahui sektor-sektor unggulan di Kabupaten Pringsewu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Location Quotient, sektor yang memiliki indeks LQ lebih besar dari satu dan merupakan sektor basis ekonomi adalah sektor pertanian dengan LQ rata-rata sebesar 1.02, kemudian sektor listrik, gas dan air bersih dengan LQ rata-rata sebesar 1.56, sektor bangunan dengan LQ rata-rata sebesar 1.71, sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran dengan LQ rata-rata sebesar 1.42, serta sektor jasa-jasa dengan LQ ratarata sebesar 1.31. Hasil metode analisis Shift Share menggunakan komponen pertumbuhan differential (Dj) menunjukkan terdapat dua sektor dengan rata-rata Dj positif, yaitusektor bangunan dengan nilai rata-rata Dj sebesar 8.245,10; dan sektor jasajasa dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 42.392,83, hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa kedua sektor tersebut tumbuh lebih cepat dibandingkan sektor ekonomi yang sama dengan Provinsi Lampung sehingga kedua sektor tersebut memiliki daya saing tinggi dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan untuk memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi Kabupaten Pringsewu, sedangkan komponen pertumbuhan proportional (Pj) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 sektor yang memiliki nilai rata-rata positif yaitu sektor industri pengolahan, sektor perdagangan, hotel dan restoran, serta sektor angkutan dan komunikasi, hal ini berarti Kabupaten Pringsewu berspesialisasi pada sektor yang sama dengan sektor yang tumbuh cepat di perekonomian Provinsi Lampung. Kata Kunci:Potensi Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Basis Ekonomi This study aims to determine the potential areas which have great impact on economic growth in the District Pringsewu during 2008 to 2013, and the contribution of the potential sectors for economic growth in the region. This study uses data Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) and Lampung Regency Pringsewu 2008 to 2013. Data were obtained from secondary data, the use of data already available to the relevant agencies. In this thesis used a model economic base reflected in the Location Quotient (LQ) equipped Shift Share analysis, which is useful to know the leading sectors in the District Pringsewu. Based on research results using Location Quotient, a sector that has LQ is greater than one and a sector economic base is agriculture with LQ average of 1.02, then electricity, gas and water supply by LQ average of 1.56, LQ construction sector with an average of 1.71, the trade, hotels and restaurants with LQ average of 1.42, and the services sector with LQ average of 1.31. Results of the analysis method using the components of growth Shift Share differential (Dj) shows that there are two sectors with average positive Dj, ie the building sector with an average value Dj of 8.245,10; and the services sector with an average value of 42.392,83, it indicates that the two sectors are growing faster than the same economic sector Lampung province so that the two sectors have high competitiveness and potential to be developed for District Pringsewu economic growth, while proportional growth component (Pj) shows that there are three sectors that have an average value of positives are manufacturing, trade, hotels and restaurants, as well as the transport and communications sector, this means Pringsewu Regency specializes in the same sector with the fastest growing sectors in the economy of the province of Lampung.
