Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Abstrak Tanaman ubi kayu (Manihot esculenta Crantz) adalah tanaman pangan setelah padi dan jagung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai kelas kesesuaian lahan kualitatif pertanaman ubi kayu di PT Nusantara Tropical Fruit blok 731 dengan luas lahan 9 ha, berdasarkan kriteria Djaenudin dkk. (2000), dan menilai kesesuaian lahan kuantitatif dengan menganalisis nilai kelayakan finansial budidaya ubi kayu dengan menghitung nilai NPV, BCR, dan IRR. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan metode evaluasi lahan paralel, yaitu melakukan analisis kualitatif (biofisik) dan kuantitatif (kelayakan finansial) secara bersamaan. Hasil penelitian kesesuaian lahan pertanaman ubi kayu di PT NTF Blok 731 Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu Lampung Timur berdasarkan kriteria Djaenudin dkk. (2000) termasuk ke dalam kelas kesesuaian lahan cukup sesuai dengan faktor pembatas terberat ketersediaan air berupa curah hujan berlebih media perakaran berupa tekstur dan retensi hara berupa KTK (S2, warcnr). Dan secara finansial, usaha budidaya tanaman ubi kayu dalam 5 musim layak untuk dikembangkan. Hal ini terlihat dengan nilai bersih sekarang (NPV>0) yang diperoleh Rp. 73.876.422,- selama lima musim tanam, nilai perbandingan antara penerimaan bersih dan biaya (Net B/C>1) diperoleh 3,86, nilai tingkat pengembalian internal (IRR) sampai 18,25% per bulan, nilai ini lebih dari tingkat suku bunga yang berlaku 1,08% per bulan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha budidaya tanaman ubi kayu selama lima musim (2006-2010) menguntungkan. Kata kunci : Evaluasi kesesuaian lahan, kelayakan usaha budidaya tanaman ubi kayu. Abstract Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) was a cultive plant after rice and corn. The purpose of this reserch is to suitability asses of qualitative cassava field PT Nusantara Tropical Fruit block 731 with field 9 ha, based on Djaenudin and friends. (2000), and to know the suitability of land and inhibiting factors, and assess the land suitability quantitatively by analyzing the financial feasibility of banana cultivation by calculating the value of NPV, BCR, and IRR. The method used on this reserch survey method by using the method of parallel land evaluation, i.e conduct a qualitative analysis (biophysical) and quantitative (financial feasibility) simultaneously. The results of research on land use cassava plants in PT. NTF Block 731 Labuhan Ratu East Lampung based on criteria of Djaenudin et al. (2000) included in the class of the suitability of the land is quite in accordance with the haviest limiting factor was heavy raindrop and rooting medium as texture and retention hara KTK (S2, warcnr). Financially, the cultivation of banana plants deserve to be developed. It is seen with a net worth at the time of research (NPV > 0) gained Rp. 73.876.422,- over the past five seasons, the value of a comparison between the net revenue and cost (Net B/C>1) acquired 3,86 the value of the internal rate of return (IRR) to 18,25% per month, or more than the prevailing interest rates 1,08% per month.
