Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model Guided Discovery Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Bandar lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam sepuluh kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII G yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa penerapan model Guided Discovery Learning dapat mening¬kat¬kan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa namun siswa yang tuntas belum mencapai lebih dari 75%. Abstract This research aimed to know the effectiveness ofimplementation of guided discovery learning model towards student's understanding of mathematical concepts. This research used one group pre-test post-test design. The population of this research was all grade 8th students of SMPN 17 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into 10 classes.The sample of this research was students of VIII G class who was chosen by purposive sampling technique.The result of analysis of data showed that guided discovery learning model could increase student's understanding of mathematical concepts but the percentage of student who reached the mastery learning wasn’t more than 75%.
