Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Abstrak Peningkatan produksi pertanian dapat dilakukan dengan intensifikasi pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji (1 ) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan intensifikasi, (2) Pengaruh intensifikasi usahatani padi dan faktorfaktor lain terhadap produksi padi, dan (3) Pengaruh intensifikasi usahatani padi terhadap pendapatan usahatani padi. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja (purposive) di Kecamatan Seputih Raman dan Kecamatan Terbanggi Besar yang merupakan sentra produksi padi terbesar di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Jumlah responden 96 orang petani padi yang diambil dengan menggunakan metode proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2011. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode Ordinari Least Square (OLS) dan uji annova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penerapan intensifikasi dipengaruhi oleh pendapatan usahatani padi, tenaga kerja keluarga, etnis petani, dan frekuensi bimbingan penyuluhan (2) Intensifikasi dapat meningkatkan produksi padi di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, dan (3) Intensifikasi dapat meningkatkan pendapatan usahatani padi di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Kata Kunci : intensifikasi, produksi, dan pendapatan Abstract Agricultural production can be increased with agricultural intensification. The aimed of this research was to examine: (1) factors that affect the application of intensification, (2) the effect intensification of paddy farming system and others factors on paddy production, and (3) the effect of paddy farming intensification system to paddy farming income. The research location was selected purposively in Seputih Raman and Terbanggi Besar Sub-District, a centre bigest paddy production in central Lampung district. 96 respondents of paddy farmers were taken with proportional random sampling. Data were collected in June 2011. The Analyses methods used to answer the purposes of this research were Ordinary Least Square (OLS) methods and annova test. The results showed that : (1) the application was affected by the intensification of paddy fanning income, family labor, farmer etnhics, and frequency of guidance counseling, (2) intensification could increase production of paddy in central Lampung district, and (3) intensification could increase paddy farming income in central Lampung district.
