Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi pokok pengelolaan lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIIA dan VII D SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung Tengah yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-postest non equivalen. Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari n-gain nilai pretes, dan postes. Analisis data menggunakan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf kepercayaan 5% melalui bantuan program SPSS versi 17. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap penggunaan media poster iv melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap pertemuan (Pertemuan I = 72; Pertemuan II = 89.). Selain itu, sebagian besar siswa (91%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa ( pretes eksperimen = 83; pretes kontrol = 73, postes eksperimen = 70; postes kontrol = 42). Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan metode socratic circles disertai media gambar berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan media poster melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung Tengah materi pokok Pengelolaan Lingkungan. THE INFLUENCE OF POSTER MEDIA IN COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) TYPE TO THE ACTIVITY AND THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SUBJECT MATTER (Experimental Study in Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Second Semester, Central Lampung Regency 2014/2015 Academic Year) This research was aimed to find out the influence of implementation poster media in cooperative learning model (STAD) type to improve the learning outcomes and students’s learning activity on environment management subject matter. This research was experiment research. The sample were class VII A and VII D SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram, Central Lampung that was chosen by cluster random sampling technique. The research design was pretest-posttest non equivalen. The research data were quantitative and qualitative. The quantitative data were students’s learning outcomes which was collected from N-gain pretest and posttest score. Data ware analyzed using uji-t of SPSS 17 software. Qualitative data, were students’s learning activity of implementation poster in cooperative learning model STAD type. The result showed that average improvement of average control class was 65,53 and of in experiment class was 61,26. The result of this research that the using media poster through cooperative learning model student team achievement division (STAD) type have influence to the activity and the result study on every meeting (first meeting = 72 and second meeting = 89). Besides that, almost of student (91%) gives positive responses to the using media poster through cooperative learning model student team achievement division (STAD) type. The result show that the using media poster through cooperative learning model team achievement division (STAD) type have influence significantly to increasing to the activity and student’s result study (pretest experiment class = 83; pretest control class = 73; postest experiment class = 70; postest control class = 42). Based on the result, it can be concluded that the using media poster through cooperative learning model student team achievement division (STAD) type have influence signicantly to increasing the result study and student’s activity in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Central Lampung of environmental management subject matter.
