Abstract
ABSTRAK Metode pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw merupakan model pembelajaran yang mengutamakan kerjasama kelompok, dimana setiap siswa memperoleh kesem¬patan belajar secara keseluruhan konsep sebelum siswa belajar spesialisasinya untuk menjadi ekspert. Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek¬tivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II untuk meningkatkan kemam¬puan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Bandar¬lampung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII, sampel diambil 2 kelas dari 8 kelas yang ada secara acak dan diperoleh kelas VII-E dan VII-H sebagai sampel pe¬nelitian. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 23 Bandarlampung. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II, Pemahaman Konsep.
