Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to find out whether there was significant correlation between students’ reading habit and their reading comprehension achievement at the second year students of SMA Surya Dharma 2 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2010/2011. The subjects were taken purposively, and class XI IPA was taken as the subject of the research which consisted of 21 students. The design used was Ex Post Facto design in term of Co-relation study. The questionnaire of reading habit and reading comprehension tests were used to get the data. The data were analyzed and computed by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (SPSS). The result of calculation showed that coefficient correlation between students’ reading habit and their reading comprehension achievement was 0.861. The coefficient correlation is higher than the critical value of r table (0.861 > 0.231). Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the research hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The result of this research shows that there is a significant correlation between students’ reading habit and their reading comprehension achievement. That is, the student whose reading habit score is high tend to get high score in reading comprehension.
