Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRACT Referring to the preliminary test that was held at the second year of social program in SMA Negeri 1 Negerikaton Pesawaran, the researcher found that many students could not express their ideas smoothly in written form, although they had been given the topic to write. It seem that they had difficulties to express their ideas and expand their story even though they knew what would be written. In addition, the ordinary teacher still taught writing in conventional way and seldom used appropriate media and technique in teaching writing. The fact proves that writing is still difficult for the students beside other skill. The objective of this research of this research were to find out whether picture sequence technique increase narrative paragraph writing skill and teacher’s performance in teaching writing at the second year of social program in SMA Negeri 1 Negerikaton Pesawaran. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Negerikaton Pesawaran. The subject of the research were students of XI IPS 1 in academic year 2010/2011 This classroom action research was done in two cycles. Each cycles consist of : 1. plan, 2. action, 3. observation and interpretation, 4. analysis and reflection. In this research the researcher used indicator dealing with learning process and learning product.
