Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) Perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model pembelajaran make a match terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Metro (2) Pengaruh efektivitas model pembelajaran make a match terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Metro. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre experiment dengan menggunakan rancangan (metode) One – Group Pretest – Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 sedangkan sampelnya kelas X3. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, dan tes. Uji persyaratan instrument agar memperoleh data akurat adalah validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, dan taraf kesukaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua variabel yaitu variabel bebas (X) dan variabel terikat (Y). variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran make a match yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu organizing, make a match, questioning, answering dan evaluating. Sedangkan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah soal pretest dan posttest. Analisis data untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan T-Test. sedangkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model make a match menggunakan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil thitung >ttabel. Diperoleh thitung model pembelajaran make a match sebesar 6.781 > ttabel sebesar 1,986 dan probabilitas (sig.) ternyata 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model pembelajaran make a match terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Metro (2) Pengujian effect size pada penelitian ini sebesar 0,6. Hasil pengujian effect size jika diklasifikasikan menurut Becker maka tergolong dalam klasifikasi sedang. Pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match terhadap hasil belajar geografi adalah sedang. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran make a match Abstrak Bahasa Inggris This research purpose to know and analyse (1) increasing of the result the geography learning after the student follow learning model make a match in the student teen class of SMA Negeri 4 Metro, (2) the influence of learning model make a match toward the result of learning grography in the teen class SMA Negeri 4 Metro. The design of this study is used pre experiment by using method one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study all the student of teen class SMA Negeri 4 Metro in the academic years 2014-2015, and than the sample of the study is X3. The collecting teacnique of the data is used observation and test. The test of regulation to get accurate result is used observation method, reabillity, the defferent teacnique, and the level of difficulty. The study is used to variables, they are independent (x) and dependent (y). independent variable in this study is a play the learning models make a match that consists several steps, they are organizing, make a match, questioning, answering, and evaluating, and than dependent variable in this study are pretest and posttest. Analysis of data to know and analyze the differences in the increasing in the result of learning T-Test. whereas to determine the effect models make a match using the effect size. The result of this study show that (1) the result of Thitung > Ttabel is gotteen Thitung learning model make a match about 6.781 > T tabel and probability (sig) is 0,000 < 0,05. So that there is a difference before and after the applied learning models make a match the learning outcomes of Geography class X SMA Negeri 4 Metro.(2) Testing the effect size in this study was 0.6. Effect size if the test results are classified according to Becker then falls into the classification being. The influence of the learning model make a match on learning outcomes geography is moderate. Keyword : learning model make a match
