Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

ABSTRACT. The problem of this research is : (1) The planning of teaching and learning has not been reached score ≥ 31, (2) The implementation process of teaching and learning can not increase the students activities has reached score ≥ 75%, (3) The evaluation system can not increase the understanding of reading content, (4) The number of students has into categories complete, not reached ≥ 75%. The purpose of this research is to description : (1) the quality in arrange the lesson plan. (2) the process teaching and learning. (3) the evaluation system in teaching. (4) to improve the reading prestation in Indonesian subject by using narration text at the fifth class of students SD N. 1 Kedaton Bandar Lampung. This research is action research. In the first cyclus the researcher using Fabel story, In the second cyclus the researcher using Legend story, while in the third cyclus the researcher using Mithe story. To getting the data the researcher test and observation. The conclusion of this research is : (1) The quality of RPP has observation by using assessment instrument of APKG 1, has got the result; in the first cyclus got score 28 (enough) , in the second cyclus got score 32 (good), and in the third cyclus got score 36 ( very good), (2) the activity students in learning at the class V A, in the first cyclus the number of active students are 41,17% (7 students) cyclus 2 : 70,59 % (12 students) cyclus 3 : 94,11 % (16 students). While in the V B class, the first cyclus : 29,41 % (4 students),in the second cyclus 70,59 % (12 students) in the third cyclus 80,82 %. (15 students). (3) The evaluation system by using multiple choice form, with difficult items level 0,65 (enough), different level of items 0,71 (good). To validity test in the fist cyclus 0,64, in the second cyclus 0,67, and in the third cyclus 0,72. The reliability of items, in the first cyclus 0,80, in the third cyclus 0,84 and. (4) the understanding in increase the reading of content in the class V A from 17 of students, in the first cyclus has reached ≤ 60 of KKM in 35,29 % (6 students) with average score 58,24, in the second cyclus has complete 64,7 % (11 students) with average score 63,24, and in the third cyclus 100 % ( 17 students) with average score 74,71. In the V B class from 17 of students, in the first cyclus has complete 23,53 % (4 students) with average score 59,12, in the second cyclus 47,05 % (8 students), with average score 63,24, and in the third cyclus has complete 88,23 % with average score 73,82 in complete categories. Key Words: Narration text, The understanding in increase the reading of content.
