Abstrak

ABSTRAK Fast food mempunyai banyak kelebihan terutama penyajian yang cepat sehingga menjadi primadona bagi masyarakat modern. Namun dibalik kelebihannya banyak efek negatif yang timbul jika dikonsumsi dalam jangka waktu yang lama seperti penyakit konstipasi, hipertensi, obesitas dan penyakit jantung koroner. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan konsumsi fast food dengan ketidakteraturan BAB dan tekanan darah pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 140 orang yang diambil dengan cara consecutive sampling. Konsumsi fast food dinilai dengan kuesioner FFQ, ketidak teraturan buang air besar dinilai dengan kuesioner dan tekanan darah diukur secara langsung menggunakan tensimeter air raksa. Data penelitian dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat melalui uji chi-square dengan α = 0,05. Dari hasil penelitin didapatkan sebagian besar responden sering mengkonsumsi fast food (74,3%) dengan kebiasaaan buang air besar yang teratur (76,4%) dan tekanan darah normal (80%). Terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi makanan siap saji dengan tekanan darah (p ≤0,042) serta terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi makanan siap saji dengan ketidakteraturan BAB (p ≤0,041). Simpulan terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi makanan siap saji dengan tekanan darah dan ketidakteraturan BAB pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lampung. Kata kunci : Fast food, gizi seimbang, ketidakteraturan BAB, tekanan darah. ABSTRACT Fast food has many advantages especially fast presentment so it became a “belle” for modern society. But behind those advantages, there are many negative effects which arise if it consumed in a long term such as constipation, hypertension, obesity and coroner heart disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of fast food with irregdefecation irregularity and blood pressure in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business University of Lampung. This research design is analytical observational with cross sectional approach, with number of samples are 140 people whom taken by consecutive sampling method. Fast food consumption is measured by FFQ questionnaire, defecation irregularity is assessed by questionnaire and blood pressure is measured directly with sphygmomanometer. Research data is analyzed by univariat and bivariat within chi square test with α = 0,05.From research result, it is obtained that most of responden often consume fast food (74,3%) with regular defecation habitual (76,4%) and normal blood pressure (80%). There is a correlation between fast food consumption with blood pressure (p ≤ 0,042) and there is a correlation between fast food consumption with defecation irregularity (p≤ 0,041). The conclusion is there is a correlation between fast food consumption with blood pressure and defecation irregularity on college student of Economic and Business Faculty Lampung University.
