Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Menganalisis besarnya biaya, penerimaan, dan pendapatan usahatani bawang merah. (2) Menganalisis efisiensi sistem pemasaran bawang merah. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Tanggamus yang ditentukan secara sengaja dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 35 orang petani dan 16 orang pedagang perantara dalam lembaga pemasaran. Metode pengambilan sampel petani dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sensus, sedangkan metode pengambilan sampel lembaga pemasaran dilakukan menggunakan metode snowball. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2014 hingga Februari 2015. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis kuantitatif (statistik) dan kualitatif (deskriptif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Usahatani bawang merah di Kabupaten Tanggamus menguntungkan secara ekonomi, yang dilihat dari nilai R/C rasio atas biaya total > 1, yaitu pada musim tanam pertama (MT I) sebesar 1,73, dan pada musim tanam kedua (MT II) sebesar 1,64. (2) Sistem pemasaran bawang merah di Kabupaten Tanggamus belum efisien, karena rasio profit marjin (RPM) di tiap lembaga pemasaran belum tersebar merata. Nilai pangsa produsen (PS) sudah cukup besar, yaitu sekitar 61,5%-76,9%, tetapi selisih harga di tiap lembaga pemasaran masih terlalu besar. Research was conducted in Tanggamus Regency which chosen purposively and total of samples was 35 farmers and 16 traders in marketing system. Sampling methods of farmers was used by census method, whereas the sampling method of marketing system was used by snowball method. Data collection was conducted in October 2014 until February 2015. Analysis methods used in this research are the analysis of quantitative (statistical) and qualitative (descriptive). The research results showed that (1) onion farm in Tanggamus Regency economically advantageous, base on the value of total cost R/C ratio > 1, on the first crop season of 1,73, and the second crop season of 1,64. (2) the marketing system of the onion in Tanggamus was not efficient due to the margin profit ratio in each marketing organization have not spread evenly. The value of the producer section was quite large, with appromiximately 61,5%-76,9%, but the value difference in each marketing organization was too large.
