THE EFFECT OF EDUCATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE ON THE APPARATUS UNDERSTANDING OF THE APPLICATION OF THE PRINCIPLE OF ACCOUNTABILITY (Study In The Unit Level Of Department/Agency Of Tulang Bawang Barat) By NINA DWIANTIKA This study discusses the analysis of the influence of education and work experience to the understanding of government officials concerning the application of the principle of accountability. The purpose of this study was to examine whether the education and work experience have a significant effect on the government officials understanding of the application of the accountability principle in the Unit Level of Department / Agency of Tulang Bawang Barat. The type of research used in this study is quantitative explanation with associative approach. Techniques of data collection are using questionnaires, interviews and data processing, data entry, data transfer (data entering), and presentation of data ( output data ) using SPSS. Analysis method of the data using the normality test, regression test, determination and correlation test, as well as t test and F test for testing the hypothesis. Based on the hypothesis test using the t test, it is stated that education does not significantly affect the understanding of government officials concerning the application of the principles of accountability whereas work experiences significantly influence the understanding of government officials concerning the application of the principle of accountability. Data, based on the f test, stating that education and work experience simultaneously, significantly influence the understanding of government officials concerning the application of the principle of accountability of 21.2 % while the remaining 78.8 % is explained by other factors that are not included in the model or in beyond this study. Keywords: Education, Work Experience, and the principle of accountability PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN DAN PENGALAMAN KERJA TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN APARATUR PEMERINTAH MENGENAI PENERAPAN PRINSIP AKUNTABILITAS (Studi pada Satuan Kerja Tingkat Dinas/Badan Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat) Oleh NINA DWIANTIKA Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis pengaruh pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja terhadap pemahaman aparatur pemerintah mengenai penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pemahaman aparatur pemerintah mengenai penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas pada Satuan Kerja Tingkat Dinas/Badan Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksplanasi dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Tehnik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara dan pengolahan data, entry data, pemindahan data (data entering), serta penyajian data (data output) menggunakan program SPSS. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji regresi berganda, uji determinasi dan korelasi, serta uji hipotesis yaitu uji t dan uji f. Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t, menyatakan bahwa pendidikan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pemahaman aparatur pemerintah mengenai penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas dan pengalaman kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pemahaman aparatur pemerintah mengenai penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas serta berdasarkan uji f, menyatakan bahwa pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pemahaman aparatur pemerintah mengenai penerapan prinsip akuntabilitas sebesar 21,2% sedangkan sisanya 78,8% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak masuk dalam model atau di luar penelitian ini. Kata kunci : Pendidikan, Pengalaman Kerja,dan Prinsip Akuntabilitas
