Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus, (2) pengaruh kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus, (3) pengaruh kompetensi manajerial dan kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel 40 orang. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel independent terhadap variabel dependent pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% (a=0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus sebesar 78,0% (2) kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru SMP negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus sebesar 79,6% (3) secara bersama-sama kompetensi manajerial dan kompetensi supervisi kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tanggamus sebesar 80,5 %. Kata kunci : kompetensi manajerial, supervisi kepala sekolah , kinerja guru This study aimed to determine: (1) influence of principal managerial competency toward the teacher performance of Junior School Education in Tanggamus, ( 2 ) influence of principal supervision competency toward the teacher performance of Junior School Education in Tanggamus, (3) influence of Co-working Principal and Vice Principal managerial competence and supervision competencies together on educational teacher performance of Junior School . This research is quantitative correlation-approach. Data collection techniques are done through questionnaire by employing 40 people. Hypothesis testing used both analysis of product-moment correlation and analysis of multiple regressions to determine the influence of independent variables to the dependent variable at 95% confidence level (a = 0, 05). The results showed that the first, the principal managerial competence contribute positively to the education teacher performance at the Junior School in Tanggamus, amount to 78.0 %. The second, principal supervision-competencies provide both positive and significant influence to the teacher performance of Junior School Education in Tanggamus, amount to 79.6 %. The last, co-working of managerial competence and supervision competencies between Principal and Vice Principal contribute positively and significantly to the teacher performance of education at Junior School, amount to 80.5 %.
