ABSTRAK POTRET ETIKA KOMUNIKASI DALAM KELUARGA (Analisis Hermeneutika terhadap Film “I Not Stupid Too 2”) Oleh ELSA PUJI RAHMAWATI Persoalan etika yang potensial selalu melekat dalam setiap bentuk komunikasi antarpribadi sehingga komunikasi dapat dinilai dalam dimensi benar-salah, melibatkan pengaruh yang berarti terhadap manusia lain, sehingga komunikator secara sadar memilih tujuan-tujuan tertentu yang ingin dicapai dan cara-cara komunikasi guna mencapai tujuan tersebut.I Not Stupid Too 2 adalah film Singapura tahun 2006 yang merupakan sekuel dari I Not Stupid. Film ini menunjukan masalah komunikasi yang buruk antara orang tua dan anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan T eori Hermeneutika melalui pemahaman secara keseluruhan dan pemahaman per bagian. Proses pemahamandengan menggunakan Teori Hermeneutika ini dilakukan dengan mengamati setiap scene berdasarkan adegan (visual) yakni dengan melihat kepada aspek proksemik (jarak/ruang), ekspresi wajah dan gestur. Sementara itu pengamatan melalui dialog, dapat diteliti dengan melihat strukturbahasa yang digunakan dalam film. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang telah dilakukan, maka didapatkan dua pola dalam penelitian ini yakni: Etika Komunikasi Orang Tua terhadap Anak dan Etika Komunikasi Anak terhadap Orang Tua. Etika Komunikasi tersebut dibingkai oleh kebudayaan modern di Singapura.Sehingga Model Etika Komunikasi dalam Keluarga pada Film I Not Stupid Too 2 meliputi dua pola yang telah disebutkan di atas. Budaya modern masyarakat Singapura yang begitu individualis sehingga orang tua lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu di luar rumah untuk bekerja daripada menghabiskan waktu untuk berkumpul dan menjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan anggota keluarga. Kata kunci: Etika, Komunikasi, Keluarga. ABSTRACT POTRAIT OF COMMUNICATION ETHICS IN FAMILY (Hermeneutics Analysis to Film “I Not Stupid Too 2”) By ELSA PUJI RAHMAWATI A potential ethical issues always inherent in any form of interpersonal communication so that communication can be assessed in a right-wrong dimension, involving significant impact on another human being, so communicators consciously choose certain goals to be achieved and the means of communication in order to achieve the goal. I Not Stupid Too 2 is one of the Singapore film in 2006 which is a sequel I Not Stupid. This film shows the problems of poor communication between parents and children. This study uses The Hermeneutics Theory through the over all understanding and comprehension persection. Understanding of the process by using The Hermeneutics Theory is done by observing each scene by scene (visual) by looking at the proksemics aspect (distance/space), facial expressions and gestures. While the observations through dialogue, can be examined by looking at the structure of the language used in the film. Based on the observations that have been made, then the two patterns obtained in this study are: Communication Ethics Parents to Children an Communication Ethics Children to Parents. The Communication Ethics framed by modern culture in Singapore. So the Model Ethics in Family Communication on film I Not Stupid Too 2 includes two patterns mentioned above. Singapore's modern culture was so individualistic society that parents spend more time outside the home to work rather than spend the time together and establish good communication with family members.
