Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan menerapkan model kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action reseach). Prosedur dilaksanakan dua siklus, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pada aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada siklus I dengan kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II dengan kategori sangat baik. setelah guru menerapkan model pembelajaraan kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, IPS, Two Stay Two Stray.
