ABSTRAK FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENGHAMBAT KESEMPATAN KERJA BAGI PENYANDANG DISABILITAS NETRA (Studidi PERTUNI (Persatuan Tuna Netra Indonesia) Jl. Pancasila Sakti Gang Vanili No. 67 Rt. 17 Kelurahan Sumberrejo, Kecamatan Kemiling, Kota Bandar Lampung) Oleh: Dian Retno Palupi Anggapan maupun persepsi negatif terhadap penyandang disabilitas netra masih kental menghiasi cara berfikir masyarakat indonesia. Penyandang disabilitas netra masih dianggap sebagai kelompok yang tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk menekuni suatu bidang pekerjaan. Penyandang disabilitas netra adalah mereka yang mengalami gangguan,hambatan atau kelainan pada fungsi penglihatan sedemikian rupa, sehingga untuk bisa berkembang atau menjalankan fungsi hidupnya secara optimal memerlukan layanan khusus. Meskipun kelompok ini telah diberikan berbagai macam bentuk rehabilitasi, baik rehabilitasi pendidikan maupun vokasional, tetap saja mereka tidak dapat menjadi sumber daya manusia yang mandiri dan produktif. Diperlukan persiapan khusus untuk membantu para tunanetra agar lebih siap untuk bekerja pada nantinya. Tunanetra bekerja di perusahaan memang menjadi ikhtiar yang masih sangat menantang. Tantangan tersebut ada pada dua sisi yaitu tantangan pertama pada tunanetra itu sendiri dan yang kedua adalah meyakinkan masyarakat pemberi kerja bahwa, tunanetra juga dapat berperan dalam proses mendapatkan keuntungan diperusahaan mereka. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menjadi penghambat penyandang disabilitas netra untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan selayaknya orang meskipun mereka mempunyai keterbatasan tetapi mereka mempunyai kemampuan untuk memijat sehingga mereka masih bisa mendapatkan uang dengan memijat. Minimnya kesiapan kerja juga tidak menjadi penghambat dikarenakan sebagian dari mereka tidak pernah melamar pekerjaan sebelumnya sehingga minimnya kesiapan kerja tidak mempengaruhi mereka untuk mencari pekerjaan karena mereka bisa melakukan pekerjaan yang lain yaitu sebagai tukang pijat. PancasilaSakti Gang Vanili No. 67 Rt. 17 KelurahanSumberrejo, Sub-districtKemiling, Bandar Lampung City) by: Dian Retno Palupi A supposition and negative perception disabilitas against people with netra still viscous adorn way of thinking indonesian society.People with blind disabilitystill considered as a group that has no ability to her a line of work.People with blind disabilityis they who have been affected, hindrance or abnormality of a function of vision in such a way so as to can grow or carries on the function of his life optimally requires a special service.Although this group has been granted a great variety of the form of rehabilitating, rehabilitation vokasional, and good education they ' re still could not be a source of human resources independent and productive.It takes a special preparation to help the blind to be more ready to work on in the future.A blind person working in the company must be sought, which is still very challenging.The challenge was there upon two sides, namely the challenge first on the blind itself and the second is a better disciplinari convincing people that, employer a blind person can also play a role in the process of gaining advantage company them.The factors that block people with blind disabilityto find work befitting a person Even though they have limited but they had the capability to massaging so that they can still get money by massaging.The lack of readiness of work also not block because some of them never applied for a job beforehand so that the lack of readiness work doesn ' t affect them to seek jobs because they could do the work of another namely as a masseuse.
