Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Issue of the study is the characterizing speech act of teacher in the learning activities in Karunia Kindergarten of Immanuel of 2013/2014 Academic Year. This study aims to describe the characterizing speech act of teacher in the learning activities that potentially forms the character of students in Karunia Kindergarten of Immanuelof 2013/2014 Academic Year. The method used in order to achieve the goal of research is qualitatively descriptive method. This study examines characterizing speech of a teacher in the learning activities. The research participant in this study is Mrs. Diana Aulele Angganeta, the former teacher of TK B Markus. Data collection techniques used in this study are the observation, recording (audio - visual), and field notes. The collected data were analyzed using heuristic analysis. The results showed that the assertive speech act potentially forms the characters of the discipline, caring, responsible, orderly, obedient to the rules, honest, respect for others, polite, learning spirit, democratic, working hard, and a healthy lifestyle. Directive speech act potentially generates the character of a healthy lifestyle, obedient, sincere, willing to share, willing to help, responsible, discipline, attentive, orderly, polite, honest, and independent. Expressive speech act potentially shapes the following characters: willing to share, ungrateful, honest, responsible, sincere, respect for others, polite, self-confident, attentive, obedient, orderly, logical thinking, critical, creative, and innovative. Commissive speech act potentially forms the characters of attentive, obedient, orderly, hard working, confident, polite, responsible, adherence to rules, disciplines. Declarative speech act potentially forms the characters of attentive, obedient, orderly, responsible, discipline, adherence to rules, honest, working hard, independent, enthusiasm for learning, self-confidence, and a healthy lifestyle. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan tindak tutur guru yang berkarakter dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di TK Karunia Imanuel Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tindak tutur guru yang berkarakter dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang berpotensi pembentukan karakter siswa di TK Karunia Imanuel Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam rangka mencapai tujuan penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini meneliti tindak tutur guru yang berkarakter dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Guru yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini bernama Ibu Angganeta Diana Aulele wali kelas TK B Markus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, teknik rekam (audio- visual), dan catatan lapangan. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis heuristik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tindak tutur asertif berpotensi membentuk karakter disiplin, penuh perhatian, bertanggungjawab, tertib, patuh pada aturan, jujur, taat, menghargai orang lain, santun, semangat belajar, demokratis, kerja keras, dan bergaya hidup sehat. Tindak tutur direktif terberpotensi membentuk karakter bergaya hidup sehat, taat, tulus, mau berbagi, mau menolong, bertanggung jawab, disiplin, penuh perhatian, tertib, santun, jujur, dan mandiri. Tindak tutur ekspresif berpotensi membentuk karakter mau berbagi, tahu berterima kasih, jujur, bertanggung jawab, tulus, menghargai orang lain, santun, percayadiri, penuh perhatian, taat, tertib, berfikir logis, kritis, kreatif, dan inovatif. Tindak tutur komisif berpotensi membentuk karakter penuh perhatian, taat, tertib, kerja keras, percaya diri, santun, bertanggung jawab, patuh terhadap aturan, disiplin. Tindak tutur deklaratif berpotensi membentuk karakter penuh perhatian, taat, tertib, bertanggung jawab, disiplin, patuh terhadap aturan, jujur, kerja keras, mandiri, semangat belajar, percaya diri, dan bergaya hidup sehat.
